Hi Everyone!
With all the discussions on Warranty...more of the FEAR of voiding the warranty... Juz kenot help feeling that this phobia (now so infectious among new car owners) is truly "killing" the joy & fun of doing fun things & enjoying the new rides... IMHO Cld not help feeling it was sure a great feeling 2b a new car owner with juz a 1 year Warranty applicable then! Was so d*mn Now cars come with 3 yrs...even 5 yrs??? Feels like a straight jacket was FOC with the car purchase...kinda mandatory even... This post has been edited by zeone: Oct 27 2013, 07:11 PM |

QUOTE(jerrymouse @ Oct 29 2013, 10:54 PM) Last weekend I sent my car to tyre shop to rotate the tyre ( back to front and vice versa) and only to find out that after rotating, my steering wheel feel much heavier and it does vibrate a lot (too sensitive?) During highway cruising my car would tend to sway to the left. Hi Bro... **I only had them check on tyre alignment as before I do tyre rotation I do not feel any vibration or misalignment. Today I sent my car back to the tyre shop and he advised to do tyre balancing. ok Done. He swapped left tyre with the right and tell me if I still face any problem, I need to send back the car and he will adjust for me FOC. **Just drove my car and I found out my car tend to sway to right now Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my car tyre? Before I do rotation on the tyre there is no issue. No swaying no much of vibration. Steering feel is nice and steady, feedback is just right and I dont feel my car swaying even cruising at the speed of 140km/h. I dont feel comfortable holding the steering wheel while driving as the "Feel" is totally different. When rotating tyres (&wheels), tyre cum wheel balancing is the norm...not alignment tho. Since tyre shop has agreed 2identify/rectify prob 4yu, suggest yu go back & let them solve the prob. Best wishes... |
