Dear All,
My BLM (1st gen) fan doesn't switch off when the key is removed. Once in a while it will switch off. But then after a while the fan comes on again (even after the car is remote locked) and does not switch off.
Has anybody experienced this problem before?
I have checked the fluid levels and everything else I can think off. If the fan never switched off I would guess its the fan relay stuck close. But the thing is it does go off once in may be 20 stops (turn-offs) so I'm stumped.
Any advice would be appreciated.

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Nov 11 2013, 01:08 AM) did your temperature bar got go beyond 3 bars when idling at jams or stopping at traffic lights? Nope. Temp indicator is fine. No overheating symptoms. Just a very wonky fan

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Nov 11 2013, 07:36 AM) Monitor the temperature very closely. Chances are there is a leak somewhere along your cooling system. Checked for that. I dont see any wet areas, drips or anything. Also, radiator fluid level is consistent - no apparent loss... Thanks for the tip. I did read somewhere that loss of fluid may lead to these symptoms This post has been edited by neosaint99: Nov 11 2013, 01:25 PM
