my father sent my gaga for 40k service this morning as I am outstation.
It is true that proton now implementin 10k service interval. Stated already in the bill.

Also, my drumbrake shoe already need replacement. is it normal after 40k? Also, brake cylinder bocor also.

By the way, does anyone know what the heck is "cover charge loose"?

Dafuq! They did not even ask me....straight away add in and tell me compulsory for first service...tibai...

I asked the SA isnt this 2 (magnatrap and x1r) optional item he told me no...

I told him i dont want both of this he say cannot its compulsory for first service...sigh

just went to genting last night with flx cvt 1.3. it climb effortlessly. no power loss compared to normal auto power loss when gear is change. the rpm stay at good powerband. no need to pedal to metal to keep up with other car. tested with 2 passenger and no aircon. saga is belong to my gf.

gang, just wanna ask. is it common if those proton service center charge us?

The story is :-

1. My car is February 2012.

2. Common problem drum brake.

3. 3 times claim warranty to solve those knock knock coming from drum.

4. last service for 30k, the service adviser advice for next service to do the full brake replace (drum brake) the package include :-
- Brake pump (claim warranty)
- Fuel brake (i need to pay)
- brake shoe (i need to pay)
- workmanship (i need to pay)

I just want to ask opinion, this service center is very good taking care of my exora and this saga after this while. So is not a problem for me to pay it just wanted to ask any of you.

If i follow my heart, now i planning to change to disc brake already. haha.

My car kena dented yesterday, forgetten to take pic, lend my friend, did not saw the low wall go bang (macdonalds), scape the fender and bumper...     4months car omg... driver door stuck...

I when to knock yesterday, managed to knock back, cost 100rm, but now alot scatch due to knocking, gonna respray back, problem is mudguard fender got scatch(scare rust) , bumper also got scatch...

The workshop i go yesterday was in JB, bukit indah area, he quote me 130rm for fender, bumper never asked, u guys have any paint shop to recommend?
