Dear otai's, had few question. I owned Saga BLM 1.3 (2008,Manual); 1. Can I use 8" clutch kit (Valeo)? Abit oversize as this preferred for Saga 1.6. Any bad effect?
2. Is it possible current IAFM to IAFM+ (as in FLX)? FC quite bad. Any recommended foremen/workshop?

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Nov 7 2013, 01:18 PM) 1. Clutch kit ask davidke202. Not possible. The IAFm+ requires the newer 32-bit ECu, which isn't feasible to be replaced. Thx bro. Thought dat IAFM/IAFM+ juz plasticky made module wif movable flap inside. gotta find davidke20 plaks

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Nov 7 2013, 08:16 PM) 1) GaGa 1.6 housing different, don't think you can plonk in. Taxi spec BLM uses Mitshi gearbox a.k.a Persona, whereas BLM biase 1.3 uses AchiPokai from Nissang Sungny 130Y. If you want performance, go for NISMO then 2) No. It will be cheaper to sell off the damn car & buy an SV If thats not an option, slow down your pickup please Thanks bro. Thought it same like older plotong cars. My fren iswara put supatoring clutch can also, got more lajak he said Huhu...sumtime got naik hangin wan to cocok2 others car (weekends) Wekap late...then got 140kmj all the way to workplace (weekdays)

Juz clean-up my throttle body at workshop dis afternoon. Condition: Juz abit dirty. Consider good since never clean for whole 5yrs. After clean: Foreman had problem with idling rpm. sumtime 1500, sumtime 2000. The foreman: Use sumthin like ECU programmer then start call sana-sini (look busy) The ECU programmer: Select Model>Adaptation>Throttle Body Learning>DONE Go to Amoi @ Counter: Pay RM85 <----s#it....that really expensive.
Want to consider again to come back tomolo, like too expensive lar. My manual gear shaft only have spring effect when push the knob to left. When push to right...kosong..kosong. Anybody encounter dis??

QUOTE(lhwj @ Nov 9 2013, 09:30 PM) I cleaned my throttle body DIY too (removed the whole thing completely) and had the same problem with unstable idling after that. In addition my water temperature would go to 6 bars and gave me an overheating scare but I knew my engine was physically and mechanically fine. Brought it to SC but kept mum on the DIY. Later they said my ECU was faulty and had to be replaced. I told them to look again. In the end, got back the car after 5 days, and with a new water temp sensor, O2 sensor and MAP sensor, all free under warranty I suspect that my sensors were fine and they could have just reprogrammed the ECU like yours. I'm never touching my throttle body ever again. Broken gear lever spring is a common problem. The new spring costs about RM8, can get it fixed at the SC. so me case is lucky woa....foreman also said bout sumthin wrong wif my ecu. oredi change spring return@SC@rm35, but gear knob not center, the spring make it lean more to left. bcoz takpuaz ati, i change the gear lever bush...need got used wif current condt till now.

QUOTE(neosaint99 @ Nov 11 2013, 12:54 AM) Dear All, My BLM (1st gen) fan doesn't switch off when the key is removed. Once in a while it will switch off. But then after a while the fan comes on again (even after the car is remote locked) and does not switch off. Has anybody experienced this problem before? I have checked the fluid levels and everything else I can think off. If the fan never switched off I would guess its the fan relay stuck close. But the thing is it does go off once in may be 20 stops (turn-offs) so I'm stumped. Any advice would be appreciated. Happened to my previous kancil. Case unsolved & the sold with it. May the temp sensor or relay or wiring. Gud luck finding solution & share wif us... eyes fakap again tonite
