Hey guys, does anyone know how to remove minor stone scratches on the car's body? They're just small dots in the front but mine may have gone through the paint.

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 29 2013, 10:23 AM) somehow agree with u...for VW car, i got no idea how the OCI works...my fren's dad drive a golf and my fren told me that only service 1 time 5 years? dunno isit real story or i too Nuff heard wrongly... If use touch up paint, after awhile will be able to see the different shades compared to the original color right? mayb need to buy a VW to test it out myself.... can remove ka? cheapest way is use touch up paint lo...the free of charge way is to just accept it since just small dots... Anyway, any recomended place to go to for this kinda stuff? my location is subang/damansara. p/s i cannot accept it, that's why i came here to ask u sifus. lolz |

QUOTE(ruby1288 @ Oct 29 2013, 10:51 AM) from far, not easy spot the dots that you have covered with touch up paint. Ahh.. sad sad. Mine was because I was rushing during my company's treasure hunt to Ipoh. Was at constant 140-180. Alot of sand and stones while going on emergency lanes and behind other cars. They see saga (although going fast) they wont let you through. Oh well...from near, not so easy to spot, unless you know exactly where are they. from close up, unfortunately, the difference is very distinguishable unless you apply few layers of touch up paint, but its not so easy as is said. because its very difficult to do so. might looks more fugly than what you did with 1 layer only. so bear with them at least they covered your chipped dots. we got no choice since our road so many stones carried by funker lorries with undercarriage and tyres not thoroughly washed before leaving site. |

QUOTE(ruby1288 @ Oct 29 2013, 01:38 PM) that's why. anyway, talking about speed, I was kinda disappointed with our pickup. I was following another treasure hunter, driving a mvyi 1.5se (mine is flx se), because on the road got other cars, i couldnt really catch up with the myvi. Everytime when stuck behind other cars, when they move to the left, the myvi always go far ahead before i can catch up again. to sum it up, i still think saga got the top speed over myvi, but the pickup/accelaration (from 100-180) myvi is so much better. Both had 4 people n luggage in the car. This post has been edited by Xorcist: Oct 29 2013, 01:49 PM |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Oct 29 2013, 01:53 PM) Did you floor it all the way down? of course had to floor... coz the myvi flying far already.. break in? meaning handling when new car? i sayang kereta one.. so, gentle i guess..How did you break in your engine? if gentle method, tough luck on getting the most out of your engine. If you wanna break in, do it like sifu V12Kompressor. Naik Genting 2nd day dapat kereta Now also I'm doing hard break in for the new SE rpm 4k and above the noise too loud but acceleration quite bad. that's why im disappointed. |

QUOTE(dares @ Oct 29 2013, 02:28 PM) If you say sudden acceleration from low speed, Myvi SE can dabao FLX SE. But given a longer stretch of road, the Myvi will run out of breath soon while your FLX will continue to accelerate, as long as you maintain the RPM. Agreed. But roads in malaysia, whether city or highways, there are quite a number of cars that will be blocking u to maintain high speeds for long periods of time. Idk about flx>myvi on high speed acceleration tho. What the CVT lacks in low speed spurt, it makes it up with stamina. That's why the Myvi is a superior city car while the FLX CVT is better for high speed acceleration, climbing hills and cruising. |
