Don worry, u are not alone. My car just a Proton cheapest car, yet i will get annoyed if someone do crazy thing on my car, even slam my door with brute force i will get peeved. I seldom willing to fetch ppl, becos some how those ppl don know how to take care of other's car, especially the pocket behind the passenger seat, the pocket is mean to put some light document in it, but some how ppl put a huge water bottle inside.

Alot more, some Itchy hand ppl love to touch my cabin cardboard ceiling and leave some mark there.

Ur Persona door close is more solid than Saga...Saga just a thin metal, i can hear the windows bracket hitting noise when slam the door.

Those plastic door step is another example, compare all 4 doors, door step on my side is almost scratchless, another 3, no eye see. Even the lower door panel sometimes is scratch.

When u want to reverse, full stop and press clutch for at least a second before you shift to R, becos our gear box reverse gear is using idler gear during reverse. If you shift immediately after press clutch, the idler gear is still in its momentum to rotate forward, so shift into it will make a grinding sound that u heard. It will harm, not to scare u, if u often do that. By delay shift into R after press clutch is to let the idler gear completely stop.
