It is 1.3 flx manual. My car bought 2 years ago and mileage around 37000km. QUOTE(EeMee @ Nov 3 2013, 10:16 PM) Guys! I recently just bought a SV. But I noticed that the shift lock button button cannot press out ? Seems like its already been stuck in pressed in position and I cannot release it. Always in shift lock mode since I bought it. It is not meant to be pressed. That is just for service side to do a manual overide for the shift lock in case the shift lock doesn't disengage automatically when you press on to your brakes. So this is consider one of the faulty ? Please help. As long as your gear lever can leave the "P" position to other gear position when you are pressing on the brake pedal, it means your shift lock is working fine. If you listen carefully, every morning after you start your car, the moment you want to move the car, there will be a "krupp" sound coming from below the gear console the moment you press on the brake pedal, thats the sound shift lock working. If you dont believe me, now go start engine, make sure gear position in P. Then press brake, release then press brake again. Press repeatedly and you can hear repeated krup krup sound coming out. |
