Few ways to quickly learn the ropes:

1. Play with the AI, get familiar yourself with the game and card mechanics
2. Watch on youtube how some of the Pro players play. Recommended players to watch are Husky, Cripp, TotalBiscuit, Trump, Artosis, Day[9]
3. Read feedback and deck idea from Heartstone's official forum and other sites like hearthstoneplayers.com, www.hearthpwn.com
4. For Arena players, I recommend watch TotalBiscuit's Lord of the Arena series and read Trump's Arena card ranking http://ihearthu.com/trumps-arena-card-rankings/
5. Go checkout http://www.hearthhead.com/ to read what each card does and read the comments/critics, get a feel how good each card is
6. Mess around with some of the deck ideas, and experiment what works for you or with what cards you have at your disposal
7. Lastly, have fun!

Would suggest play all as you'll get a feel how the different heroes deck play style like and know how to deal with them when other players play against you. This is must do especially Arena where you are given random hero and cards to pick with. Also playing all heroes to level 10 net you free 100 gold as well as all the hero basic cards, so thats an incentive.

For Play mode which you build your own deck, pick hero(s) or deck style you like or best built with the limited cards you have. Your deck should 'flow' meaning all the cards come out easily each turn when and where you want it, and synergy where cards can combo off with each other. Good example I recommend is the hunter deck in the earlier thread. This part you have to focus due to your limited resources (cards and dust) to build the best few decks that suit your play style, in particular early on when you start building you library of cards.

Opened my 2 packs from Arena and got this legendary...too bad i already have it so its 400 dust for me

just remember yesterday, was playing arena, choose a Mage hero, put up a nice set of deck, alot of taunt (that card dunno the name, gives Taunt to adjacent minion & +1/+1), currently was at 3-1, then face a Warlock and lost, and another Warlock and lost.

my mistake = did not select any mass damage spell or silence minion...and the culprit was a 1/1 imp with stealth that gives minions +1 health.

Self note: at least have a few silence or mass damage spells, cause a stealth minion that beef up friendly minions is realy pain in the $#@%^&

First 9-0 run. Played vs megablue's warlock deck along the way

but i couldn't put a "tick mark" in to box of Hearthstone

hi chcgamer, about the tourney, me and my opponent (flare) is both confused about the deck changing/cards changing, is there any rules regarding this?

i am currently at 1-0, so is any of us allowed to change deck/cards?

P/S: please reply asap, our matches are still on-going.
