I use a D600 Nikon strap on my Canon 600D XD !

I usually use a Cumpler Industry disgrace and a Sunsniper Pro attached to a Custom SLR M-plate so I don't need a tripod plate.

I actually quite like Canon strap, there's 2 different type of surfaces on it that you can change. One surface is abit rubbery and grippy while the other one is just simply stitched and smooth to move around. I always use the strap like those sling bag instead just hanging on my neck, it's not so tiring to use in this way, easy to hold the camera up and put it down also.

Spyder not suitable for travel. biggrin.gif Will get into your way a lot.

For professional purpose like covering events and such, very useful.

Well mine is rubber stretchable. Got it at SG for a steal haha, even with 5d mark ii with 24-70mm it feels much comfortable even with long hours.

Getting a smaller bag would help? Just able to fit a body and lens.

ahhh, that just makes it a bit more comfortable but weight is weight.

once you try to put it on your hip area, you'll realize how nice it is with those hip holsters.

the downside for hip holsters as such is that you have additional things to carry, and it's not made for you to sit down.
