Buy from iherb, pay for the cheapest shipping with tracking. The timeline: between 5 - 12 days to arrival.

Jarrows formula is a good brand that comes to mind quickly. If you want a better deal gotta look for yourself. smile.gif

Note: Melatonin is only for short term uses only, e.g. for quickly getting back on your regular sleep schedule after a 24 hr flight or multiple all-nighters at work.

Beyond that, your friend should be looking at lifestyle changes.

Ah I see. Well in that case instead of waiting for shipping you can probably just get a few sleeping pills from the local pharmacy (gotta try a few as they might not give you any without prescription). It's not good for health but just for a few days use to get accustomed to the work schedule is fully justifiable and will bring more good than harm.

Another equally important thing would be to ensure complete darkness in the room, and a cool temperature (air conditioning on low speed). Getting a sleeping eye mask is great too. Ear plugs if needed.

I took Melatonin last year and I tend to overslept and feel like crap the next day.
I also found out that it inhibits testosterone production (WTH)
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11455362
I feel a bit sluggish when lifting weights at the gym.

Melatonin only helps for a short while after certain period you would build tolerance. I got from USA pharmacy via online order. I believe the one the are selling in Lelong are genuine (Natrol) but a bit pricey compared to purchasing online.

try to get melatonin from iherb.com....
http://www.iherb.com/search?kw=melatonin&x...=1&rcode=gtj907
u can try brands like natrol, jarrow's formula or source naturals...
cant find in msian pharmacy...
first time purchasers, just key in discount code GTJ907 for US$10 discount (above US$40) otherwise will be US$5 discount...

meanwhile, maybe can try to drink tea like camomile, peppermint, st john's wort tea before sleep...
caffeine-free...
http://www.iherb.com/yogi-tea-st-john-s-wo...18?rcode=gtj907

be careful when using melatonin... as one of the posts here, mentioned that it might be banned in msia...
better check that out first... if the sleeping situation is really bad... see a doc and get a diagnosis....

U can also try d3 in liquid form. Hard to get.

Sleeping pills. The trick is to take one pill, and if it helps, cut down by half and so on. Not the other way around, coz that might killl u. Go see a doc for it....

I would like to suggest your friend to learn self hypnosis technique to improve sleep quality. He/She can also consult the Naturopathic Practitioner for improving her sleep quality.

Deepening Sleep by Hypnotic Suggestion
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4015388/
Results demonstrate the effectiveness of hypnotic suggestions to specifically increase the amount and duration of slow wave sleep (SWS) in a midday nap using objective measures of sleep in young, healthy, suggestible females. Hypnotic suggestions might be a successful tool with a lower risk of adverse side effects than pharmacological treatments to extend SWS also in clinical and elderly populations.

Hey guys, I had been having sleep problems since 2020 and visited a wellness doctor. She prescribed Melatonin to me and costs RM280 per 60 caps. It really helped me to reset my circadian rhythm and allowed me to sleep at a better timing. Back then during MCO I had anxiety and depression due to the the work load. Bad thoughts starts to come in my mind and I couldn't sleep. I sleep at 5am and wake up at 2pm. I consumed a lot of supper and the worst part is that I kept beating myself up. It was one of my lowest point in my life.

I went to a normal GP and they prescribed sleeping pills but as you know, I didn't want to get addicted to it but I really needed help. After paying RM4k to my wellness doctor for a full check and going in a wellness program, I've never been better. Lost weight and start being consistent with things I do. Really got me out from the dark times.

I owed it to myself and with the support of melatonin, I am able to sleep and with better sleep, I get to regulate my mood.. lower my anxiety and gave me strength to forgive myself and let go of things beyond my control. My thoughts became better and positive as my sleep got better. I know in Malaysia it is legal but regulated however I don't think anyone should suffer insomnia and a bad sleep cycle. It is a supplement and not a drug and not addictive. I just want to share my journey and I hope it helps people who

1. Suffers from insomnia
2. No regular sleep
3. Anxiety
4. Stress
5. Jet Lag

If you have such symptoms, living with it or want to better your life, try to fix your sleep first. You will feel different and that keeps you going. Don't give up on your sleep or yourself. Practice self love and your life will shine. Fix fix fix and sleep well. As I know not everyone can pay a wellness doctor a visit and RM280 is expensive for 60 tabs customized for you but I've found a local site that imports directly from manufacturers. To cut down my costs, I've been using them to get my supplies. Costs me less than RM2 per day to sleep well.

Hope this can help everyone here to sleep better smile.gif

You can get it from https://melatonin.asia/
