Guys, looking to replace my wheel... Left 2mm on my rear when I service my car...
Currently using hankook v12 evo2 profile 195 55 15..
Want to find back this model but not much in market.. Not sure izzit eol but website still have this model.. Few shop said no stock..
Any other recommendation? Budget 2xx each..
Hankook prime 3 new but not sure on traction.. As my driving style is aggressive with cornering also during rain.. Current model serve me well..

Thinking 2 solution as below..
1. Upgrade all my rim to 17 inch take ventus prime 3 205 45 17..(budget not sure if I able to get around 1.6k-1.8k including trade in my wheel)
2. Change some better tyre with 15 inch 195 55 15 budget 2xx each ..

Looking forward for suggestion..

Since your budget is already RM2xx each, just get the Pilot Sport 3. Best in class.

PS3 would be the best for 15in wet weather drive.
Have been using it for 3 sets already tongue.gif

I just changed my 185/55/15 PS3 at 270/ea all in (new rubber valve, balancing, card payment) at Kee Hin OKR.

I found lowest 220 at the moment but its 195 55 15..there is another one lower but no stock.. Free maybe will go change.. Didn't go for valve as I using metal they claim metal valve only change once.. Card payment got extra charge ka? Lol

Feel like changing my car tyres again soon

Anyone knows the current market price of Michelin PS3

195/50/15 or 195/55/15 ?

did you change yours? i change once in 2022 around 225, now i guess is near 295...

SC told my PS3 left 2mm at front , thinking to change soon...
Wondering what alternative i have aside PS 3..
I dont really care about comfort or noise, my priority is always grip...

I haven't changed yet.. Plan to change next week or within this month.. Googled and saw the tyres cost RM 300+ now...

Last time only change RM 215 - 250 per tyre 3 years back

I love this tyres too. Never disappoint me in dry or wet

Too bad 15" doesn't have PS4 or PS5 tyres

I bought 225 in early 2022. Hows your thread and how many km you driven?
15" i guess ps3 is quite sufficient with my driving habits.
One of the good thing about 15", Given the price difference is very minimal i feel the performance is better alot. (eg same price i can only get mid tier tyre in 17inch or above)

I used hankook v12 evo2 (K120) - best budget tyre and i driven 45k km. . then it discontinued. Feedback - Sometimes rain water cause some ESC/TC indicator on, during speed like 90-100 in highway. Once i take a sharp corner with higher than average speed the tyre giving some streching sound but so far no lost control...

Now i use PS3, SC told me i left 2mm on thread, i just driven like 23k km so far. I tried to measure myself and it seem there is 4mm (i not sure how the SC measure). So far looks good and i don't recall any issue with this tyre.
It not even near the tyre bump indicator (the small bump in our tyre thread). I guess that one is 1.6mm, and i still saw quite some gap which is around double or more.
