It's ok la, CSC5 is worth the price what, bloody good tire and still rivaling PS4 as the best! Or get PS4, maybe cheaper now compared to European made CSC5.
Surely prices from the first page are not valid anymore, that's already a few years back, when 1 USD was still just rm3 or even less!  sweat.gif

Thanks mate...PS4 is around 800 and CSC5 is around 1100

wondering if i would loose anything if move to PS3 range?

I think you should ask around. Try ask [A]aronLJW, he has been selling PS4 in this forum. My friend also just bought a 225/45/18 PS4 somewhere in Klang and only paid rm635/pc.

Move to PS3 of course will offer less performance but nonetheless still a very good choice, still way much better than most tires. How much for the PS3 that you've got?
*
Havent looked around PS3 yet...infact its my first time sourcing for a performance sports (ZR) tyres. Thanks for the hint....

I think kat Msia, it doesnt matter if its V, W or Y, since there is no proper location to cruise at more than 240kmh. Lucky if could maintain at that speed for 5-10mins...hahaha

more noob question..
since I have changed my honda jazz tyre from 175/65/15 to 185/60/15, should I still follow the recommended tyre pressure sticker at the side of the door @ 220kpa or I should pump a different tyre pressure due to change of tyre size?

and front and back tyre pressure from the recommendation sticker is different, actually you guys follow that or all tyre pump with same tyre pressure regardless of front and back?
*
It depends on individual's comfort on driving and the car handling itself.

Normally when I have fullhouse, then I would pump higher for long distance ride, in addition that would give better mileage as well.

But you dont want high pressure at local road, as it will be too bumby, but for some drivers, they are okay with it.

check few shops around that place, get market price (a quote would be good) and then write to the shop that you bought, its not fair market pricing.

If not positive, file in a complaint at tribunal...it should work out fast for positively

No, it will not burst.  smile.gif  It's just that your total circumference is too big (>4%) which will give the following impact:
- slower acceleration
- worse FC
- might also result in slower braking response.

ComputerIdiot And adding on your instrumentation would be wrong as well,

speedometer,
GPS readings,
onboard metering

just changed it today. cannot resist the price of RM452 for 4 pcs including balancing n installation.  biggrin.gif

previously on RE003, the grip level is totally different (treadwear 220 vs 400). but still acceptable for city driving.

next time i will go for V12E2.  brows.gif

Do give us your review..now and then 6 months later.

WHats the treadwear ; is it 220 or 400?

I did once, like 7 years ago, and ya, it was a promotion price and extended warranty.

Mine was fine, but my cousin,'s after 6 months had some lump on the rubber for 2 tires, had to send to warranty, but it was a breeze.

BTW, isnt Sunny on 13in rim?

question from noob to the sifus sekalian:
how long since the manufacture date of the tyre until installation date, is the tyre considered as new tyres?
for eg, i got quoted for Michellin XM2+ Week35 2019 onwards. Is that considered as new or already old tyre?
By old here, I mean as in the tyre ageing, not the physical condition of the tyre.
*
Sometimes its very subjective...and obviously many debate out there. Personally I would go within the year, but if given major discount for a 1yr plus tire, then i dont mind as well. I dont go to tires that is more than 2 years from the date of manufacturer.

A good reading material here

I would like to make recommendation for this shop : Pusat Tayar Wheelfire, Pandamaran, Port Klang.
Air-conditioned waiting area. Big shop. Less customers. Drink vending machines.

So today I went to Klang Hin Leong again to change another 2 tyres. They were sold out of Michelin PS4 for my size.  ohmy.gif
Not wanting to go back empty handed, I googled recommendation for tyre shop around the area and found Pusat Tayar Wheelfire. A bit further into Klang.

The price? RM345 for a piece. No surcharge when paying using credit cards.

And the icing on the cake : this shop lock the wheel nut using TORQUE WRENCH  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
I have always been uncomfortable with other tyre shops using that air impact gun. We just don't know the pressure it put on the nuts. It could damage the wheel bolt thread.

On a side note, this shop even put a reminder sticker to come back after 10k km to rotate the tyres. They seems to really care about their service.

I was always told it should be every 20k km before rotating. So is it 10,000 km or 20,000 km?  hmm.gif
*
Good to know, thanks for sharing. Nothing wrong it rotating earlier. It all depends on the road that we travel in. If we often at uneven roads, its always better to get one done.

Since my place the rotation and alignment is not that expensive, used to do it, for rm35, but stopped going to that place, since change of staff and not comfortable with the service. Now I do at another place which charges around rm55. So I do it every 4 months once since I do around 2000km amonth.
