One of my tire's (Bridgestone Turanza ER33 215/55R17, 3yo, 40km) PSi drops from 33 to 20 within a week lately and the tire shop cant find out the problem. Tested no small puncture, changed to metal valve, sandpapered the rim's edges, but problem persisted. Pls help.

BTW anyone know how to search for tires in Lazada with installation in JB?

Haven't check with the tire shop but does this problem normally covered under warranty? Thanks for the heads-up.

if done all that can be done
we can assume it is tire quality issue which is a manufacturing issue so i think can claim

OK will call Bridgestone HQ tomorrow, thanks.
Last option is to change a new sets of tires, BTW can I change from 215/55R17 to 215/60R17 tires, am looking into Goodyear ATM2 @ rm350/pc inclusive of installation. Goodyear only has Excellence 215/55R17, no ATM2 215/55R17.

Excellence is OEM base tire.
Not fantastic not terrible.
Don't expect performance if you're aggressive driver.
going from 2155/55 to 215/60 means the tire is taller.
which is also a cons for aggressive drivers.

watch this video for a crash course on tiresĀ  rclxm9.gif

What about my existing tires, Bridgestone Turanza er33 215/55r17 @rm370, is it any good. I am a non-aggressive driver 98% travel locally at JB. I want my tires to be safe n long-lasting.

Planning to replace my original tyres ( Yokohama 215/55R17) for my HRV. Got 2 brands/models on my mind, Michelin Primacy 4 & Bridgestone Turanza T005A. Anyone got experience with these tyres on HRV? Which is better for comfort. Price difference? Any good shop to recommend at Penang/Butterworth with better price?

Thanks.

T005A should be cheaper and better value for money.
Not familiar with your area though, just try search in mudah or Facebook.

Was checking on these BS T005A(rm440) n P4(rm430) in jb n was surprised P4 is cheaper. Currently using BS ER33 215/55R17. Best prices online T005 at rm360+ n P4@rm420+.
BS dealer told me price going up next month cos of rubber price.
By the way, my sonata is very low n when going over a higher hump the base always touch it, is there any solution to tackle this?

Is your car using lower sport springs? If so then just change back to std. Otherwise can change tire size to 225/55/17 so the ground clearance will increase by about 0.5cm, might help a bit to clear humps, but it will look a bit bulky.
*
Never did any modification to my Sonata, so should be std springs. I doubt increasing clearance by 0.5cm (~0.2 inch only) would make much difference. Anyway thanks for the suggestion. Just have to continue driving over hump very slowly and at an angle.

Could it be worn out springs due to age? How old is the car?
*
7 years old but this is common with most sonata models.

You might be surprised with what the difference this 0.5 cm makes.

Yes very often the touching is very small so that 0.5cm can actually helps clears much more humps.
*
Thanks.
So if i change to 225/55r17, any modification to the car? By increasing section width to 225 is there any danger of touching the body?

Managed to buy michelin PS4 SUV size 235/55/19 at around RM850 each after various discounts and cash bonus from Lazada. Can't wait to try it!

I was thinking of getting 4pc of P4ST too ~1700 discounted to ~1500 but cant find true seller info&contact after googling, so no confident.
