Michelin PS3 195/55R15 at RM243 each in Klang?

Not really a good comparison as 185/55R15 is cheaper.. Its MSRP from Michelin is RM270 each versus 195/55R15's RM296 each...

dear experts. I am planning to change my tyres on my Renault Fluence. 215/50/17. Any recommendation? I prefer balanced with a little performance for occasional spirited driving. Currently using stock Continental Premium Contact 2. Quite satisfied with it, just it worn out too quickly.

Was comparing Hankook S1 Noble and V12 Evo2. Any other recommendations?

it is typical for workshop to just give the brand name without the the specific model..
I think hyundai i10 is using 165/60r14 so most likely the cc6 or the remnant cc5 stock.....

iF you confident with conti why not try ContiMaxContact, for performance & safety go to PS4, I bought it(PS4) at RM450 each before GST at Klang. thumbsup.gif

How is the noise level? As I know MaxContact is the UHP or Sports oriented while Premium Contact are comfort biased.

Actually within the Continental line up, MC is lower level than CPC series! MC is actually just made by Continental Malaysia for the local market, not available anywhere else in the world, while CPC is an international model from Continental. So rather than MC5, I'd actually suggest to get the CPC5 if you don't want to use too high performance tire category. Or better yet, wait until the new CPC6 is available in MY (it's already available in SG btw). FYI for the next model, CPC6 is actually targeted to replace CSC5 and CPC5 into just 1 model to compete with directly Michelin PS4, which means CPC series is already also in the same category of UHP tire like CSC5 while still trying to retain the comfort level of the CPC5.

If you want to try Hankook, try find the S1 Evo 2 (not S1 Noble, coz the Noble is just a mid range model). That is Hankook's top of the line UHP tire, got many good reviews also. Otherwise the V12 Evo 2 should be pretty decent too.

Dear Expert,

I've been using Michelin XM2 [185/55R16], but the price is quite high. Any recommendation? Bridgestone Turanza ER300 Ecopia? Goodyear Assurance Triplemax? Continental CC6?

Thank you.

Regards,
Swu

Thanks, I have always been confused with Hankook's and Conti's line of tyres. Thanks for the information I got a clearer picture now.

I second the S1 Noble 2, used it to replaced the Yoko DB.

The S1 Noble 2 is comfort and silent, at so much cheaper than the Yoko DB.

The problem is very difficult to get the S1 Noble 2 now, last time i checked few shops also said no more stock.

Finally i changed to Conti MC5.

I still think the Noble 2 is a very nice tires for the money.
