Recently switched to Michelin XM2 tyres at TyrePlus - JS Auto Services in Glenmarie. 175/65R14 for RM190 per piece, inclusive of alignment and balancing. Relatively quick service too.

QUOTE(kumarz17 @ Dec 26 2021, 02:54 PM) QUOTE(kumarz17 @ Dec 31 2021, 12:31 PM) Cheap but decent or reasonable maybe can but cheap and best never exists! 😆 So which one is it that you want?If cheap but still reasonable/decent: GY Assurance Triplemax 2, BS Turanza T005A. If best: Michelin PS3, BS Potenza RE004 If just cheap: just pick any China tires like Linglong, Winrun, Landsail, etc2. |

Looking to replace my current Goodyear ATM2 185/65r15, are there any good alternative replacement or should I just stick to the same tyres? Thank you.

Been using 2 sets of Bridgestone RE003 for the past few years. Now its time to change but, RE003 no longer available or my frequent tyre shop no longer carrying. They have re004 and ep300, which one is similar to RE003? is RE004 the same compound or sth?

RE004 is the newer model and supposedly performs better than RE003 according to Bridgestone.I just got mine changed 2 last week and after 200km or so, its stickier in dry than my old RE003s. So far decent on wet, but the RE series were never really great on wet roads. Hope this helps mate. |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jan 2 2022, 02:51 AM) Cuz it's the 2nd lowest model from Continental, just above the lousy CC6. Treadwear about similar above 300 (around 320-360). Is not that bad, UC6 actually replaced the MC5 in the premium touring tires category. I got salesman friend using UC6 and they feedback the treadwear actually lasted even more compare to MC5 even tho similar treadwear rating. Same tire size 225/55/R17, MC5 lasted around 60k, UC6 lasted around 80k. For a sales person point, UC6 is really a value tire. eichikatsu liked this post

Durability can be high but performance not so good, typical of lower category tires which focus more on just being long lasting and minimal noise. |

unfortunately for me, 1 of my 8 month old michelin primacy 4(215-55r17) tyre got punctured by a screw in between thread n sidewall. Shop said beyond repair must replace at rm460. Can it be fixed by superglue like https://www.lazada.com.my/products/mday100-...tRoC9HYQAvD_BwE
