Congrats to you.  I got a job too  thumbup.gif  jz came back from signing the offer.

I wonder what is the next step I have to do in order to apply the S Pass.

My manager told me they will help to submit but once ok I need to collect letter from company then medical check up then take the report to company again then collect the S Pass. I am abit confuse  rclxub.gif

Anyone any ideas? I wonder why I need to travel so much to my company...

After your S Pass is approved , you need submit some document ( Application doc + others ) + medical checkup report , and then go Collect the S Pass

Its actually quite simple.

So when your S Pass approved, get the document from your company and go to the panel clinic for medical check up. Get the medical check up report, make an appointment with MOM to submit your documents. Then wait to collect your S Pass work permit.

Thanks alot for the info.
My workplace is at Aljunied. Izzit possible for me to take my letter and straight go to do the medical check up? I don't want to travel up and down.

Which mean I have to make an appointment for my medical check up and MOM to submit?

Thanks alot !

You can go to any clinic that provide medical checkup for work permit.
And also clinic to do x-ray.

In my case, i just walk in to a clinic that belong to my boss's friends to do medical checkup.
Then I have to go to another clinic to do x-ray since the first clinic no xray service.

After that you have to wait a few days to get result.
You can either go collect the result from clinic or they send it to MOM for you.
Then u make appt with MOM after they receive your medical report.

Better go to less popular ones, so shorter queue, but make sure they have x-ray service as well , so no need to run a few places.

How do I apply for extension? What if I overstayed by a few days instead of overstayed by a week? Do I still have to apply for extension?

By the way, is it possible for me to just pay and get a Singaporean mobile line/SIM card there without any working pass? I need to make calls when I am there..

the easiest way is to cross over back to JB... and go back to SG again. With new immigration card and stay duration.

As long as in 90 days you dont stay for more than 60 days in SG

Well. They won't know unless u r unlucky kena road block. Tgey ll ask for your driving license n ID like passport.

worst is if u get into accident n u don't have valid driving license after exceeding the 12 months period. Worst if u need accident claim or people claim against u n if your insurance void your coverage. Also, u may have committed a crime n get deported back to earn RM...hehe

well i have been in SG more than a year already , though in and out SG many times (travel back to msia or go jb often)

So my driving license consider invalid already loh
