Not much different if you are single ,
If you are married with kids, then the PR makes a lot of sense in terms or education for you kids, medication, childcare center.
*
education for school - might have some level of priority over EP holder, but not much subsidy - normal school fee for PR child is $109 vs $363 non pr
childcare center - no more discount or subsidy as getting full. (will attach more info - to provide insights for married couple with child coming to sg)

no idea on medication as my comparison of going to poly vs private normal clinic (those 24hrs) - not much different

it makes difference when u are hospitalised.

hihihehe depends on industry and your skills. typical IT support would be roughly ~$2.5k - $3k as a start

Not inclusive of

just wondering does most employer allow muslim to pray and do they allocate a prayer room in the office?

also, is it easy to find a mosque for friday prayer?
*
1. Allow, YES - you manage your own time.
2. Allocate , NO - you manage yourself. eg, anson road - either u pray at carpark area at international plaza or the mosque near sbs bus depot.
3. Mosque, depends on area but usually there are mosque within few MRT station or need to take bus.

Depends on the company, some allow to go Friday prayer , you manage your own time but some require you to get supporting letter from MUIS.

There is a certified translator I used at SS 2 alot of times for Australia visa purpose. He is pretty reliable.

waynefly
your description is very generic for IT field. is it pc/desktop support?
if the offer is 1:1 to your malaysia pay, then looks ok but different people have different spending habits.

ThanatosSwiftfire financial report does not have crunch time during financial year end?

ricky0111 there is another option if u want a sim-only package with 12GB data limit @ 40$ monthly. this is if you are not planning to get 100mbps fibre anytime soon within first year. 12gb is good enough for downloads and streaming. thumbup.gif

try looking into sg craiglist or gumtree of people leaving country wanna transfer their current line. try to find those 12gb with rolling contract (means no long term contracts)
they would even pay the transfer fee and pay some extra few month.

downside, it is a used number and you might receive unwanted calls offering loans/services/chicken etc.

for calling back malaysia, I used pfingo as my singtel is only 100minutes/month.
pfingo - $10 for 1000minutes callback landline, 300min callback mobile. (not advertising OK - just sharing nod.gif )
