Hey guys,
Long post here !
I am a Malaysian currently studying in Perth, Australia and am thinking of going to Singapore to work upon graduation. My field is Advertising / Graphic Design in which I can see there are plenty of jobs in Singapore.
I have already started applying for jobs even though I only graduate in February. And of course, there are rejections, could be because of skills or I could not provide an immediate start.
One question that I got is, if I can't find a job by lets say May or June... Is it wise for me to continue a Masters program in Singapore ? I'll have one year to study for it, and that year I can try to get internship or part time job related to my field, and hopefully land me a job at the end of the masters program.
However, I think this plan is very simple-minded and does not offer any "what-ifs" situation which I am afraid of.

Will it be feasible? One thing that worries me is the got masters but no experience factor.

@alaskanbunny : I don't think I can enter government school. The school that I am thinking at the moment is SIM. I have thought of SMU but their intake is open in 2014 and it is for 2015. So I would have to wait for another year.
I'll try talk to SIM and see what they can offer.

Hey guys !
Need some recommendations from those who are experienced.
For someone who's graduating soon in Australia, in order to find a job in Singapore from a company which is willing to issue a work permit, what sort of establishment is best to look ?
I have been applying for jobs from all over different websites like STjobs, Jobstreet & etc... Unfortunately not much news due to new year, I could not offer an immediate start and MNC requires very skilled individuals.
Is there any tips that you can offer ?
Thanks !
