My worry is Friday go back JB will be terrible jam.
Why?
1. Usually crowd flow into JB on Friday
2. Malaysia custom officer on "weekend" off on Friday...

you are right...it seems that if one was here in june, start works at july or later, the scenario of work < 183 , stay > 183.
it seems that they look at the stay period according to iras

How about those that work for Singapore company but based overseas and not in Singapore > 183 days?

Hi guys, I'm fresh graduated and just back to Malaysia. I would like to looking an opportunity to work and stay in Singapore. May I know should I go to Singapore 1st or delivery resume in Malaysia? Im wondering if I moved to Singapor, after that I got a job offer which is big distance from my place. That's inconvenience.
Moreover, seems like they prefer who is currently stay in Singapore, since I delivery many resume but no response at all.
Thank you!

Need study good English, write English like that in resume cannot.

If have many money, can come SG first then deliver resume. Process may take months before you get a job. Many money need to spend while waiting. Or deliver resume from Malaysia, buy prepaid card from SG and put in that number so company don't know you in Malaysia. Address you borrow from your friends in SG to put in.

Distance no problem. Singapor very small, every where very near. No worry.

You sure about that?

"Officially Malaysian converting to Singapore driving license has to 'surrender' or have their M'sian driving license revoked."

Anybody who has gone through this process care to share whether i would have to surrender my malaysian license in order to convert to the singapore license so that i can drive in singapore?

Wah spartan life. But question is how long can you keep it up? Is it worth it? When you reach 40 you will realise that you just threw all your youth away for a couple thousand bucks...youth you will never ever get back....

Have been living that lifestyle for few years now. Don't feel comfortable having good life served by waitress in restaurants. HDB hawkers more down to earth and warming wub.gif . Youtube, TVB drama. CC opposite house, hit badminton, gym with 3 dollar. Then weekend cycle to library enjoy aircon and books. Ok ma.

Actually what is the recommended life? 9-5 and then what people do at night ah? Go out and spend money?

3.8 for 3 bedroom. 5.2 for 4 bedroom. Upper Bukit Timah area. If you don't drive you can sublet your parking lot to your neighbours. drool.gif

I heard some owner will trick you to pay the maintenance fee or sublet the parking lot themselves.

hi bros, recruitment consultant in SG here.

I can tell you guys, don't bother to enlist assistance from recruitment agencies. Most companies won't be large enough to have sufficient quota for foreigners, so when we see foreigner resumes is straight press close window lol

moral of the story: when they say SG only (PR also accepted), they REALLY mean it. Malaysian walk far far ty

If you really want to do it, dismantle each items and pack them into their own box and hand carry, dumping the casing into luggage with a lot of wraps.

Orchard will be swarmed. Packed butt to butt. Foam spray everywhere. Male to Female ratio 100:1. Only for younglings. All rush for cab after countdown, can't find any until MRT start to run.

The old man way stay at home with love ones, have some wine, read a book and sleep at 10pm.

Hi, today the HR call me and ask for interview. They even provide me flight ticket for me. My question is, how long the distance from Changi to Jurong East? What is the faster transport to reach there? TQ.
*
Take cab and claim with the ticket, around 30-45 minutes depend which part of Jurong East. MRT about 1 hour.

Hmm, is it really important to have WIFI in a room? I suspect Singtel and the other telecommunications provide portable dongles? What do you guys think?

Survived with Broadband on Mobile for years now. No hassle when moving house. The speed is fast, no problem for streaming, video call and gaming, the only thing you need to worry is the quota now, 10gb max.
