Nope, you won't be able to get your 15% back. The rule is very clear. If you have physical presence in SG (working/visiting etc.) for more than 183 days in a calendar year, you get to claim your 15% back as a resident. 1 day lesser, Singapore says thank you for your contribution.

Good luck.

Sorry if I didn't add this, yes, I'll work more than 183 days for sure and if I leave Singapore I can claim it back right?
*
not the full 15%. Minus off the tax deduction based on your income bracket.

Hi all,
Newbie here...
I would like to know about the income tax / any other deductions in salary.
Lets say my monthly salary 3k, what will be deducted from it?
Or is the tax only payable one lump sum to IRAS before end of April?
*
you can choose to pay 1 lump sump or via giro interest free instalment at the end of the assessment year.

Its confirmed that both have to be pr for 3 years. Even if 1 have pr for 5 years and another 1 for 2 years, cannot transfer the time period and hence cannot buy until the other Got 3 yrs pr.

Awww then my agent just anyhow BS me only huh. My wife PR only got approved couple months back, looks like another 80k on rental over next 3 years then only can buy =(

Haha not elite enough for that. With condo prices now at 1.3k psf minimum, I can only probably afford a 4xx sqft shoebox, and frankly speaking those are WAY too small for a couple, or couple plus kids

QUOTE(ik3da @ Jan 4 2014, 02:21 AM)
Bro, confirm? I called HDB council and they said no this morning, that's why I am like so stressed up over the house. You mind sharing your agent contact details with me to chat further? Appreciate it a lot man!

Hello all,

Do you guys have any personal contacts of reliable and trustworthy estate agents in Sg? I intend to look for a room and settle everything by next week. Can't afford to stay in Sg for too long to look for a room. T_T

Local banks maybe still got, but international/foreign banks the bulk of their back office work will either already be outsourced or in the process of being outsourced to lower cost countries. Malaysia, China, India, etc.

do check with ur insurance provider/company, sometimes they hv got corporate rate for clients for medical check up... also do check out prices in msia.. much cheaper...

based on explanation;

http://www.sata.com.sg/images/services/SAT...ure-25Jun13.pdf

for me i would go for basic + optional tumour marker B...

which package to take depends on age, current health/lifestyle status and family history of illness... diff ppl diff 1 rclxms.gif

i donate blood regularly... so check-up under haematology, syphilis is done everytime i donate flex.gif
