QUOTE(dell123321 @ Apr 15 2017, 10:27 PM)
monthly expenses

cc 1: RM700
cc 2: RM800
cc 3: RM500
PL1: RM800
PL2: RM360
car loan: RM700
house: RM1912 (not yet ready)

don't count wife's money cos i am on my own for all these commitments as I got this before i married her.

hence why need help to minimize the monthly commitment that I have
*
Ur credit card is the killer here. If I calculate this right,if the amount of cc 1 2 3 is min payment then total outstanding for all is +-40k.

Mann.... this is sky high bro. What did u spend bro? Sleep at golden hotel? Eat golden rice in golden resraurant?lol

For this case, u cannot do Balance Transfer.

Heres how. Hope this works. Knowing that u will pay 1.9k for house using ur salary. I suggest u go EPF withdraw ACC 2 for monthly installment up to 12months.
Roughly bout 23k. And park that 23k to ur housing account. Note!! DONT wrongly say i wanna pay for 12months installment. Tell the bank (home finansier) to park that money in advance payment/bucket. So later bank will eat 1.9k from the bucket for 12months.

Now, the 1.9k that u have from the salary, pay it to the cheapest CC 1st (cc 3) until RM0.00 and cancel it (cut it). Cc1&2: continue pay the minimum payment as usual. After cc3 already cut then, pay the 2nd lower (cc1) and cut it.

for 3rd card, then only u can do BT. Many bank offer 0% interest fee for 12months nowadays. So, do it onto ur cc3.

Wife must give ur support and encourage. Its fine if she dont want to give money help u pay. But at least she help in buying groceries...

Stock market dont play2 arr... if u kinda person that do saving every month deligently and then got some EXTRA, that EXTRA can play stock. Strictly dont ever play stock using ur saving money.

Playing stock are very big risk taker. U not going to play stock with 10 lots only rite? Of course u wanna buy as much as possible to earn more. If the counter performing, then u r lucky. But stock market got its up and down. Once its suddenly going down deep, that time arr i told u..u cant even sleep at night.. every morning 0900 to 1700 hrs u'll be glued to ur monitor see ur money fly.. sometimes, money can fly further below againts whats ur capital.

Really need to study hard on the counter u r going to park ur share.

So, put thing simple,
Got extra, can play.

No extra but using saving to play and wanna feel it,well, go ahead if u think im wrong.

Hi ann, what they've advise u are really something u should consider. Taking another PL or doing Balance Transfer to settle is a big No-No.

If i were u, say ur repayment is what? 500/month? Well, since u have some saving, might as well u double it. Pay 1k. Do it for 6 or 12 months. Trust me ull definitely will shorten the tenure and quickly relieve ur headache.

When the total outstanding is less than 5k. Now,this is the moment, strategies urself and call the bank tell them that u want to make full settlement, ask them to recalculate the principle and dump it all. Ask for waiver if possible. If they grant u 1 month, its good enough already. But that just me, i call it hardcore style.

It's nothing wrong if u like travelling. Everbody does. At this juncture, u can put it on hold. If still want, ASEAN countries are not bad too. Go somewhere where the Ringgit are stronger than their's. So that u'll minimizing ur spending.

Car? I no need to comment. Everbody telling u their opinion already and i totally agree.

Wife? Not that im being buzy body, but at ur age, u should have one. And that's requires money too.
