10lb dymatize Rm260 - 140 servings
Rm1.857/serving

10lb ON gold standard Rm300 - 155 servings
Rm1.935/serving

It has already been known that dymatize elite whey is the most economical whey, only then ON gold standard.

Personally, dymatize whey powders are finer (better mixability) (For both chocolates ive tasted), and taste better

5lbs dymatize - 62 serving for rm165 = 165/62 =RM2.661/serving

5lbs gold standard whey = 72 serving for RM190 = 190/72 = RM2.638/serving

5lbs 100% pure titanium whey = 75 serving for RM165 = RM2.2/serving

the titanium whey is popular in usa and much older than above brand and just arrived in malaysia last week

Haha, personally and agreeable by my friend too, taste better at the first scoop will taste yuck when you take it every day, tastier stuff tends to get bored easily. ON Gold Standard taste best to me. If there is any whey that taste like H2O, it will be best rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Bro, shouldn't the calculation should base on grams of protein per servings rather than amounts of serving per tub?

For this particular, dymatize vs on only then we can compare RM/serving, coz both has the same protein content (24g per scoop). If we were to compare with other brands, then probably can boil down to RM/g.protein lol.
Its a personal thing for taste i guess. To me Dymatize (comparing choc flavour) to ON, it taste 'lesser protein feeling', thus doesnt make me feel like puke after drinking.. Ive tried another taste too from ON, tropical punch, and it felt bad after few days lol. and like i said earlier, dymatize is easier to mix.. Took me only 5 seconds to almost dilute the mixture biggrin.gif

well, some people say you'll develop moobs with excessive soy cos of the high levels of oestrogen..this is up to you to decide. tongue.gif
and apparently soy is a slow releasing protein but faster than casein.

you just gotta buy one and try. wink.gif

Soy will NOT give you manboobs, but it does reduce serum testosterone by a small degree. If you can afford it, always go dairy unless allergic or lactose intolerant.

The effects of soy and whey protein supplementation on acute hormonal reponses to resistance exercise in men.

J Am Coll Nutr. 2013 Feb;32(1):66-74

Authors: Kraemer WJ, Solomon-Hill G, Volk BM, Kupchak BR, Looney DP, Dunn-Lewis C, Comstock BA, Szivak TK, Hooper DR, Flanagan SD, Maresh CM, Volek JS

Abstract
Objective: For many resistance-trained men concerns exist regarding the production of estrogen with the consumption of soy protein when training for muscle strength and size. Thus, the purpose of this investigation was to examine the effects of soy and whey protein supplementation on sex hormones following an acute bout of heavy resistance exercise in resistance trained men. Methods: Ten resistance-trained men (age 21.7 ± 2.8 [SD] years; height 175.0 ± 5.4 cm; weight 84.2 ± 9.1 kg) volunteered to participate in an investigation. Utilizing a within subject randomized crossover balanced placebo design, all subjects completed 3 experimental treatment conditions supplementing with whey protein isolate (WPI), soy protein isolate (SPI), and maltodextrin placebo control for 14 days with participants ingesting 20 g of their assigned supplement each morning at approximately the same time each day. Following supplementation, subjects performed an acute heavy resistance exercise test consisting of 6 sets of 10 repetitions in the squat exercise at 80% of the subject's one repetition maximum. Results: This investigation observed lower testosterone responses following supplementation with soy protein in addition to a positive blunted cortisol response with the use of whey protein at some recovery time points. Although sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) was proposed as a possible mechanism for understanding changes in androgen content, SHBG did not differ between experimental treatments. Importantly, there were no significant differences between groups in changes in estradiol concentrations.

Conclusion: Our main findings demonstrate that 14 days of supplementation with soy protein does appear to partially blunt serum testosterone. In addition, whey influences the response of cortisol following an acute bout of resistance exercise by blunting its increase during recovery.Protein supplementation alters the physiological responses to a commonly used exercise modality with some differences due to the type of protein utilized.

Yea, i am. Not suggesting that everyone should buy ON Gold (costly i know), but it works for me so I'm gonna continue using it.

One tip is to explore different brands/types of protein and see which one works for your body.

But if you have a tight budget, then your choices are limited but still there are options for you to do your own "experiment".
