hi all,

anybody booked hotel on agoda before? anyone got the 7% discount? If yes, how does it go? do u have to pay full first, then OCBC will give rebate in the statement? Or will deduct 7% from the grand total during checkout?

good thing i already terminated my auto-debit with ocbc titanium for tm and tnb when i heard the news about ocbc going to terminate the 5%. my decision is correct. so now will pay manually on weekends using mbb2 amex via maybank2u for the bills.
*
but i thought even if u do it during weekend, it might not get processed during the weekend... they might process it during weekday and ur extra 5% during weekend cashback is gone?

Hello, guys...this is a sad, sad announcement. What's the point in having this then, sigh...it's my favourite credit card of all time =/

It says here 1% on all retail spending...meaning any type? Things like food and petrol too?

And what's the point in having unlimited 1%, pfftt...time to look for other cards. Which ones are you all looking at, HL Wise?

i just applied maybank2 cards last nite at one utama.

well guys, i've got an update regarding 90% SF promo.

The CS told me, its every saturday, bi-weekly thingy. so the next one wud be 8th march.

whoever is entitled for the 90% disc, you will receive the discount. I guess you will have to flash the sms to the SF cashier when ordering.

and its only at SF paradigm mall.

my conclusion:

I think whoever doesnt receive the SMS, can ask from whoever receives it.. and then u can show the sms and pay using ur OCBC card. I dont think SF will be really strict/have time to check whether ur card no is entitled for the offer or not.

hope that helps ya'll here.

if it's a bi-weekly saturday promotion, will they be sending the sms batch by batch? meaning for those who received the sms during the first promotion will not receive the sms anymore?

or those who received the first sms still can come again? i don't think so because the sms written the promotion date and time. so if we did not receive the new promotion sms, i don't think we can still use the old one again.
*
well, i didnt ask la.. but i think by batch.. so if you know someone who gets it.. ask that person to fwd la.. hehe..

Just to share, checked my wife's last month bill and she got the GST paid for last year by OCBC even though her date just after they change policy.

Doubt can get it anymore, but make me feel happier a bit la =)
*
ur wife spent more than RM10K in last financial year? if yes, myb thats how she gets the gst waiver.

guys... just wondering if any of you here got a call from OCBC offering you cash based on your credit limit..

the offer is 3% fixed interest, no processing fee etc. just 3% fixed interest rate and payable in 1 year only. so to calculate, for example they offer you RM10,000 cash, to calculate how much interest, its 10000 x 0.03 = 300. Therefore, total payable throughout that 12 mths is 10,300/12 = 858.33.

i dont actually need the cash right now, but just wondering.. if i can invest it somewhere else.. would it be a good idea to take that money? since i think its quite a good offer.
