Just saw my statement, they charged me RM 50 for GST...
Previously I called the CS and they say I am entitled for GST waiver due to exceeded their annual usage limit 10k. However, this valid until 29 Nov but my CC anniversary is on 11 DEC.. Called to CS and the CS said try help me to waive this one.. ARrrghhh |

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Dec 15 2013, 10:32 PM) let me know whether you successfully offset the GST or not. The CS said I have to paid RM50 in this month statement 1st while trying help me to waive GST..My anniversary is coming soon, and I also face this problem. Tell them so unfair to us as our anniversary is fall on DEC which is within 1 month of 29Nov If next month statement saw RM50 rebate means successfully been waive. I will call, follow up this issue frequently and update here |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Dec 26 2013, 10:32 PM) Bank offered for you because of exceeded annual usage limit 10k ?? When the time I know the news (no more 5% rebate) on Nov, I quickly called to the CS and ask them my annual usage amount is it entitled to get GST waiver..I have exceeded the limit as well, should be try this as bargain point next year when anniversary is come... The CS replied yes.. But after when I received my DEC statement, I saw there is RM50 GST charged on my bill.. So I called to the CS and ask them why previous CS said I am entitled for GST waiver. CS said this GST waiver end on 29 NOV d and my card anniversary is on DEC. So I keep asking CS help me waive GST. Luckily they really help me fight for it... |

QUOTE(barlogteoh @ Dec 27 2013, 12:40 PM) So lucky you called cs before Dec, and also the good cs to help you. I will end this card on OCT/NOV 2014...My anual is on Oct, so no problem for the anual rebate at all. but mostly i will end this card on Sept 2014 before the gst. As MBB AMEX 5x point = 2% return, and need to spent the first RM5000 to counter the RM50 GST You will continue on 2014 Dec? Currently keep this card in cabinet Keeping 2 cards in my wallet: Citi Cash Back Platinum & Maybank 2 Card.. |

QUOTE(knight @ Dec 28 2013, 12:10 AM) Wanted to apply this card 4months ago but been rejected with unknown reason. They ask me to try again few months later. Now I want to apply Titanium but seems like the deal is no more like previously which have dinning/Petrol/Groceries of 5%. Maybe you should tell us your spending category??Can anyone tell me this 1% unlimited is worth it?? Or I just continue with UOB?? So that other people can help you |

QUOTE(jasmine0085 @ Dec 30 2013, 09:26 PM) How did you talk to them ? The CS who were talking to me was very firm ( perhaps she is jst lazy to do anything) saying that there is no more annual usage bonus according to the policy and she cant do anything. I tell them by 29 Nov 2013, I have spend more than 10K which is exceeded the annual usage limit. So I say myself qualify to enjoy the annual usage bonus.. Then she is kind enuf to help me raise a request for it... Remember to ask ticket ID/ report ID for follow up purpose.. Maybe try call different CS and see?? Different people have their different style |
