QUOTE(sj0217 @ Dec 12 2013, 10:39 PM) I see, I have no received any separate letter, is this letter send for certain card holder or will send for all? Will just wait and see then it is in the same letter that mentions they will revise the existing rebate scheme. Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(goliath @ Dec 13 2013, 02:56 PM) Received the letter. Somehow, mine is different than what's posted here. Instead of upgrade, they offer 2nd card (Platinum MasterCard) with same terms (free 1st year annual fee and RM50 off). same thing since you can get the platinum card then cut the titanium card

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 13 2013, 03:02 PM) Platinum is higher level than Titanium right? Still consider an upgrade I guess. platinum is RM24K pa, titanium is 36k. Titanium is higher grade

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 16 2013, 08:57 AM) Like you, I spend about RM1K per month only previously and I also received the upgrade offer where the first year annual fee is waived plus RM50 rebate. To ALL: I just published a freaking long article where I did a comparison between OCBC Titanium MasterCard versus OCBC "fake" World MssterCard. And the OCBC Titanium MasterCard beat the heck out of the OCBC WMC. Like I said, it's a freaking long article and in the article I touched on many subjects which may not interest most of you. But if you really got time to waste, click the link below and find out why we should just stick with our OCBC TMC instead of getting the OCBC WMC: AGAIN - A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That.since I won't get the annual usage bonus, if I don't switch card to get first year waiver gst, then I have to fork out RM50 for the TMC gst. Therefore the smart move should be switching my card to the 'fake' WMC to save RM50 first, 1 year later then see how. of course if you put in the annual fee into consideration, then WMC is definitely expensive to retain after 1 year This post has been edited by nothingz: Dec 16 2013, 11:05 AM

QUOTE(herc @ Dec 16 2013, 03:07 PM) Those are just normal cards bro, anyone with annual income over 35k can get them all? hehe it is unlikely that OCBC will offer you their WMC if your annual income is below 40k. I think in order to hold so many cards, your annual income has to be at least 60k+

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Dec 26 2013, 03:34 PM) just got charged rm50 for gst. called CS, no waiver allowed. looks like i'm cancelling the card then. goodbye to the 2 yrs journey... the gst can be reversed? I don't think so. Better just keep it since there is no turning back This post has been edited by nothingz: Dec 26 2013, 06:33 PM

QUOTE(jimbet1337 @ Dec 27 2013, 05:25 PM) Yes. Operator said.. need to call them first, everytime there's a transaction to be made to a 'new merchant'. How troublesome is that. have you activated your ebanking? If not yet then you can't do transaction online

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 27 2013, 06:44 PM) Why need to activate ebanking in order to use the card for online transaction? Make no sense. Ebanking is only meant for viewing statement online and pay bills from OCBC ebanking. As long as you can receive OTP with your handphone for Mastercard Securcode, then you can use for any online purchases. as I remember, it works this way. You may double confirm with OCBC

QUOTE(fireballs @ Dec 30 2013, 12:34 PM) titanium card is 1% unlimited, no annual fee worldcard is 1.2% unlimited. but annual fee cannot be cancelled. RM388!! just called cs. thought of upgrading to worldcard. WMC gives you 2 entries to KLIA Premium Lounge and a premium hotline on top of the 0.2% additional rebate. it can be cancelled a year later, not an issue for me

QUOTE(pisang @ Jan 16 2014, 08:39 AM) same situation like you. Most probably will accept that offer for 1 year first as the Annual fee and GST tax are covered by OCBC. bro, be patient.... if you maintain ocbc titanium card, upfront loss RM50 for get. cancel it, no gain no loss, just cut a card. accept to upgrade WMC, free to use for another year with additional 0.2% rebate. 1 year later only consider whether to maintain it. It is so simple. I had accepted the offer on the spot, received the new card and started using it

QUOTE(cfc @ Jan 18 2014, 11:06 AM) can anyone confirm this , they can transfer exisiting 0% IPP from titanium to new card ? I am stuck with this now, still having half year IPP to go when my card going to due in March they said can but the credit card statement looks weird since I can't see the details of the transactions transferred from the old titanium card
