Oh gosh... I guess I need to hunt a credit card specifically for food and petrol now. Any suggestions?

Received my paper statement today and there is no notification about the changes to 1%.

Same here. It's either they're sending a separate letter about the change or... they will include it in the next statement.

Received the letter. Somehow, mine is different than what's posted here. Instead of upgrade, they offer 2nd card (Platinum MasterCard) with same terms (free 1st year annual fee and RM50 off). doh.gif

Platinum is higher level than Titanium right? Still consider an upgrade I guess.

Titanum has slightly better benefits (1% opposed to 0.5%) and free for life annual fees. I didn't really bother about the Auto-IPP thing.

same thing since you can get the platinum card then cut the titanium card

Yeah. But then again, I'm gonna cancel the card soon anyway. So no point of taking up their offer.

If my chip is faulty, do I need to pay a fee for a replacement card?

Should I wait for the next bill cycle to cancel the card or can I cancel now if I settled the current bill?

you can cancel at anytime once you have settled all outstanding balance.

Is up to you whether you want to cancel now or later, but the next statement will be your final statement if you cancel now and your card will be inactive immediately.

Ok. Thanks for the info.

Just called to cancel stating due to the 1% cashback. It sounds like CS have been hearing of the same reason too many times. tongue.gif
