I'm pondering to cancel or not. I just got it around August then suddenly got this news.

I currently have the M2C left, I've cancelled the rest including my Amex Plat.

But cashback for MC/Visa is tempting, anything else you think can replace OCBC?

Usual usage would be for dining, some shopping and occasionally petrol (if I can't last til weekend). Spending average should be around 500-1k.

Thanks.

Now many ppl cancel, and many ppl apply their card. Big changes in customers.

If they gave me the RM50, I'd stay as it is not a bad compliment to the M2C. But since they aren't, no point lo..

Called to cancel my card on Tuesday morning. Until today, no call from the card retention department. I bet they're willingly to lose existing customer base and fishing whole new basket of customer. Therefore, hoping for annual GST waiver is very thin.

What is your spending habit on that card like? I know OCBC tracks that, if they do not think you spend enough, they won't really bother to retain.
