It say no more Free for Life. Does that mean annual fee waiver with 12 swipe a year is no more too?

QUOTE(iamoracle @ Nov 8 2013, 01:50 PM) For dining I have replace this card with MACH card long time ago with 5% cashback n 10% cashback for movies. Some say WISE card is not a bad choice but its not suitable for me because I cannot fulfill its requirements. |

QUOTE(angietoh9988 @ Nov 22 2013, 05:10 PM) OCBC Ti of 5% rebate coming to an end, all converted to the 1% rebate. Alot of people intend to cut off it. It depends alot also on what you use your card for. In my case I mainly use it for Dining. MACH card can easily take over that job from my OCBC Ti.In fact I am looking for alternative OCBC Ti's cash rebate card ... is considering HLB Wise, Maybank Amex dual card, UOB one card ... My finding&Comparision : HLB Wise: I pretty dun like that we MUST 10swipes minimum RM50 per month for T & C (do not spend more money because want to get rebate) Maybank Amex: can only be used on weekends, there is 5%, but many places do not accept amex cards. UOB one card: petrol good, 5%, and other category most 2%, other 0.2%, utilities bill is not entitled to 2% Sound like only OCBC Ti. Card can use in all category... aiya! better keep the card lo. |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Dec 14 2013, 01:23 PM) To those who intend to cut this card, you better think twice because only the 5% category limited to RM50 is gone and it can be replaced by WISE card or MBB2Amex. Now you get even better benefit, unlimited 1% cash back. still not worth to me. only worth for a person who spend above 5kUnless you already have WATAMI card or you don't spend much on credit card. I am transferring my maxis payment to MACH card today to take advantage of the 3% cashback. But even this, the actual value is in fact 3% - RM5 (quarterly fees). However, my bill quarterly is only about RM300, which makes the effective cashback, (300*0.03)-5=RM4, which is about 1.3% cashback only. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 15 2013, 11:45 PM) QUOTE(den @ Dec 15 2013, 11:48 PM) maybe it depends on your annual salary during the time you applied? Oh follow original pay slip.. ok that explains it i'm just guessing. cause my salary was quite low when i apply for this card. now also offered plantinum only. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Dec 18 2013, 03:26 PM) Just wanted to share with you the face of the guy who signed off on the recent Love Letter that we received from OCBC this is probably the lamest news i heard today...http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Media/20.../OCBC_Cards.pdf http://www.theborneopost.com/2013/12/05/oc...s-on-all-items/ Its funny, he says that he wants OCBC to be the favourite 'Number 2' card for every MY. Why No. 2 and not number 1. The OCBC Titanium was my Number 1 card and I have charged all my expenses (save for Petrol). Now, I am not going to charge anything save for one off annual items. That also, I am rethinking as even Alliance with the combined Cash Back and Reward Points gives higher effective returns of 1%. If I keep the Titanium, my net returns from the Card is probably going to be less than RM50 per year (after GST). |

Finally I made some investment recently and the amount is large enough that I can take advantage of the Watami min requirement. I shall be moving all the rest of my autopay to there. Fingers cross hopefully not rejected
