QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 12 2013, 09:02 PM) For non-petrol, bills payment & groceries, this card still good as it offers 1% rebate over 0.3% on Citibank CBP and UOB ONE. Why Gonna use UOB ONE for petrol, groceries and telco bills. Everything else, OCBC Titan

QUOTE(andyyaosmurf @ Nov 18 2013, 08:50 AM) I just gone through a blogger website stated that the cash back rebate for Titanium Card will be change soon. He do some comparison for existing card and the new card that cash back system and promotion..... How about the auto RM50 rebate to offset GST upon swiping RM10,000 in a year?

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Nov 18 2013, 11:53 AM) Rules of Banking T&C, "If it ain't there, means its not going to be offered". But lets wait for final revised product sheet after 29 Nov. Its still subject to changes, depending on how the Card performs post 29 Nov. For sure those with Auto Debit for Telco will change. Also for Hypermarkets, petrol, Restaurants, will see some attrition. But the 1% unlimited Retail Spending is good for high value items such as Insurance, Jewelery, etc Retail means EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR FEES, right? Means petrol is also retail? But I dun think I will use Titan for petrol...UOB ONE better, for petrol, hypermart, movie, telco bills...

QUOTE(andyyaosmurf @ Nov 18 2013, 12:06 PM) Titanium can be use for all kinds retail.. such as petrol, hypermart, movie, telco bill... plus no cap woor...I am just headache why you say UOB one better... i guess both card is almost the same. I am currently using a Petrol card, of course I will not use Titanium(if I have one) for petrol, but for others, I am keen to apply titanium card for other credit card usage UOB ONE 5% for petrol and GSC cinemas 2% for groceries, pharmacy and telco bills

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Nov 18 2013, 01:03 PM) Just a passing note, UOB may be better than Titanium as it offers >1% on certain segments such as Pharmacy, Hypermaket, Telco etc. However, one must compare total cost of ownership which includes things such as 1) Annual Fees 2) GST 3) Additional Fees when it comes to monthly payments Irrelevant to me, cos I want to hold 2 cards (just in case 1 is not usable), so I'm habing ONE + Titan

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jan 11 2014, 12:24 PM) If you spend RM5000 over the year it will cover your GST at 1%. You count yourself la =). I think I won't spend that much, so going to dump the card when my next GST is upcoming unless OCBC offer me something. More to the point is the marginal benefit. If you already have Visa (0.4% effective cashback) that you could use rather than the Titanium, your marginal increased benefit is 0.6% not 1%. Meaning you need to spend about RM9000 on the Titanium to cover GST. Conclusion - bye bye OCBC =) But the main reason why I'm keeping...as backup. Esp petrol station...sometimes they reject certain card for unknown reasons. Thus I keep UOB Visa ONE + OCBC Titan Master U...talk like an accountant...are u one?
