anyone know how to check the total amount have been spend for the card within the year (annual usage)?  i can't find this in statement.

gst going to appear on my statement soon, need to check how many i need to "spend" to reach the 10k to waive the gst. 

you have monthly insurance of rm1000?

i will also keep if unlimited 1%, just wonder it does not include which transaction. some 1% cash back card is not include petrol. but petrol will use mbb2 amex instead, 5XTP still have 2%

just got my 2nd statement from OCBC some how i found that they never list down the discount details like UOB doesnt.

must we called the SC to get information which transaction is under what category? 

then would be no different with the Hong Leong Essential card.
but the essential 1% is not include petrol

I know a bout that, but some having a diff MCC code and I wonder how u ppl check it Haha..

My Statement Date is 15 Nov 2013.
Does this mean I can maximise the 5% Rebate (RM50) between 15-28 Nov 2013 ?

Just called up & successfully cancelled the card.

They ask for reason why cancel, just tell them you'd prefer to use cash payment

Just applied for this card few weeks ago, the OCBC personnel never even mention about this rebate discontinued thingy.

Any chance to cancel this card after approval without incurring any charges?>

just don't activate and don't swipe the card
just cut and throw the card into rubbish bin
then no need to pay a single cent...not even the rm50 gov tax

They did some mistake on my payment n charge me interest so complain bout it n said very disappointed n would like to terminate immediately... later on somebody call back ask me not to terminate first as the bank would like to compensate haha. So I got it.

Not sure if we said wanna terminate ocbc immediately they will counter offer or not to retain customers.

if u use 5k and above, the will levy the GST RM25. if 10k and above=RM50 levy.

pay for insurance & medical expenses also can get 1% rebate is it?
if yes then i convert my HLB Essential to Wise, then this card keep for Insurance and Medical Expenses.

if i buy home appliances from hypermarkets, will i get 5% rebates or 1%?

Applied TMC on 24th n card was approved on 6th Nov. Then 7th Nov they revised the rebate rate Today finally received the card. Surprised to find out they are in fact quite generous on CL.

but it also doesn't say going to remove ma...
anyhow, i requested an email for it and feel free to call CS if u want to cross check.
