hi can i know izzit normal for ocbc to show availble limit less 1k from limit allowed.

example my limit 3k.

after use 1k the availble limit becom 1k instead of 2k.

anyone hv same scenario?tq
*
Never really go and log and check the limit cause there is only once I'm over it.
But I think that the system should not deduct available limit... maybe some error or you have non posted billings?

Just sharing. Get a called from OCBC that offering cash 4k with 3% interest rate for 1 year.

Interest rate will be reduce if the amount you have settle early within 1 year.

No document is needed, phone call will do
*
3% one time charges for the monthly installment for 1 year.
If thats the case, not bad also hmm.gif Put in fix deposit, you can earn maybe 1%, rough estimation. haha... earn RM40 per year... good enough for a meal...

it's flat rate 3% means higher in effective rate which will be higher than fd rate = not worth.
*
You mean 3% per month/per annum? If flat rate 3% per annum... I think it is still worth.

i mean 3% flat rate per annum is still not worth to put in fd. unless the fd rate is higher than 5.5%.

why? bcs the effective rate of 3% flat rate per annum is 5.49%. you may check the conversion of rates here:
http://loanstreet.com.my/calculator/flat-t...calculator.html

further explanation as below:
*
thanks victorywp, haha tongue.gif I understand liao after plotting in excel. laugh.gif
But if in need of some cash, I think it is still quite worth, definitely better rate than ah long but do loose out to housing loan rate.. laugh.gif

Yeap, in Great Eastern, we do have unit trust as well. You can swipe RM100,000 with your cash just like how you pay your premium, immediately RM1,000 cash back. Done that and OCBC really cash back 1% with no capping.
My daily expenses usually fall on weekday, on dining, petrol and phone bill. would mbb amex and watami give better cashback?
*
If you spend on weekday, it is best to go with watami. MBB Amex 5+2% is only applicable on weekends, weekdays is just the usual 2% points only

I successfully login, the interface in much nicer. But unless you use all their banking facilities, actually there is not much usefulness in my case where I only use their credit cards... liability 100%

18% PA for the full interest?
*
Yup, I received the same call and I max out the cash biggrin.gif
After calculating the effective interest is around 5.69%, still consider low
Don't really need the money as well, but meh... just put the cash by the side... maybe if found some good stock then can dump all in drool.gif
