People don't understand that watching cartoons and anime is a hobby and adults watching them doesn't mean they're not grown up. there are tons of cartoons and anime that have a mature theme(mature=/= sexual) meant for adult audiences.

How do you define growing up then? Play golf, football, boxing? That doesn't mean you're "grown up".

If you said that an adult continues to watch cartoons meant for children like powerpuff girls then maybe you have a point. What about South Park?Ghost in the Shell? Death Note? Hell Girl?  tthey're obviously not meant for children. You can't just say "watching cartoons/anime = childish". Do you know what's childish? its your brainless logic.

Now now, I watched a lot of anime. A lot.
I read a lot of manga. A lot.
I played a lot of eroge. A lot.
Now I am trying to stay away from too much manga and anime by reading Japanese light novels and novels. Can't say a lot but enough to make me understand japs language and sentence structure.
For 12 farking years, I have no such beastly feelings to rape and kill women.

Anyway, a real otaku loves solitude and their own world. Most of 'otaku' in Malaysia are just wannabes and trying hard to look like one.
