Vanguard Princess on Steam will be the latest update of the game (Version 1.4.1). For the first time, Vanguard Princess will be available for Mac OS X and Linux gamers. The game will also be formatted for SteamOS, Steamworks, and Steam-powered devices (such as Nvidia Shield).

Due to popular demand from the Greenlight community, we will release an uncensored version or free game patch of Vanguard Princess on Steam for gamers who want it.

- We have not developed a multi-player for this game. We will see what Steamworks provides

- Yes, we have developed a native version of Vanguard Princess for these systems. They were demoed at game events throughout the summer


Will this game have Trading Cards or other achievements/unlocks?

- We plan on utilizing Steamworks to the fullest for this game.


What makes this game different from the original Japanese version?

- This is all English, you can play with Hilda as a support. In The Japanese version, it was a nightmare to reconfigure your computer settings just to launch the game. There were pre-existing bugs from the original version that have been resolved like for example, if you tried to change game settings like game speed, the entire game falls apart and it a gamer would have to reinstall the game to restore everything. You can play this game on Mac OS, Linux, Android (via Onlive)


VP English is really catered towards new people of the game, especially those who don't want to go through the trouble of re-configuring their computer system to play the Japanese version. Old-school gamers should get the game because we are working on a multi-player support which would only work on our Version.

ah i see, i played JP ones only, so i dont the censored thing. So the only difference is the sprite change?

We were not told that the DRM-free build we received of Vanguard Princess did not include versus mode. Once we learned of this, we raised the issue with eigoMANGA. Only after the bundle sale ended did eigoMANGA inform us that they do not wish to provide a DRM-Free build with versus mode out of concern for piracy but are willing to provide an activation code for anyone wishing a full version with versus mode. Valve issued out Steam Keys for Amazon and Gamersgate customers, however they won't be available at the same time the Vanguard Princess launches on Steam.

When Steam Keys are issued, the recipient company issues them out on their own accord.

We'll let you guys know when they go live on their sites. They're very supportive Vanguard Princess on Steam and want to issue out the Steam Key as soon as possible.

We're currently working on getting Groupees Steam Keys issued as well.
