Apparently they reshuffled the papers for BM and Sejarah, so whatever tips we got may not apply anymore. Good wake up call to let go and just go with an open mind tomorrow.

For rumusan, kesimpulannya need to take isi tersurat + harapan right?

Btw, for bahagian A my teacher always says write about 300 words, even though the paper says 200-250 to score high marks. Should i write as the paper says? :l

The chances of me entering 'Matrikulasi' is not so high as my co-curricular marks is not higher than 85. Also, I am not so interested in A-Level (don't want to waste my parents money). So, STPM would be a great choice for me.

If you don't mind these probing questions , please do answer them :

1 . When you mean 'secured' , what do you mean ? Full tuition waiver ? Secured a place at either one of the universities to do A-Levels ?
2 . Why MBBS ? Are you academically interested in it ? What is it about MBBS that makes you want to pursue it in the future ? The systematic study of diagnosis , treatment and prevention of disease , or the rigor of the course ?
3 . Being a doctor can be incredibly challenging at the beginning . You'd very probably be numb to patients whom you treat . Are you ready for that ?
4 . The normal route for students wanting to pursue medicine is the usual STPM , or Matrikulasi . MBBS at Monash costs a bomb . Are you trying to get tuition waivers/scholarships ?

No , I applied for it with a very foolish reason --- to get in , get a screenshot of it then reject it . I wanted to prove my teachers wrong , that Matriks isn't the only pathway that guarantees academic success after SPM ( which is very foolish I know ) .

My plan is to study A-Levels , if and only if I get the KPM bursary . If not ( hopefully this doesn't happen but life is full of uncertainties and surprises ) , I'll have to somehow beg Maybank , Maxis , KYUEM , TNB or whatever corporations that provide scholarships , if that doesn't work , hopefully TARC would be generous enough to provide full tuition waiver for A-Levels ( but that means I'd have to work hard on my own all over again ) , if that doesn't work too , I'd probably need to rely on FMS bursary ( Father-Mother-Scholarship ) but that would break my heart because I repeatedly told them not to worry about my studies after SPM  .

After A-Levels , I'd throw off the bowlines , sail away from the safe harbor , catch the trade winds in my sails , explore , dream , discover .

I have big dreams after A-Levels , I dearly want to study at institutions like Harvard , Yale , Columbia , M.I.T , Oxford , Cambridge , Yale , NYU ...

I'm just sick and have lost all hope on the Malaysian education system . I want to be able to have the academic freedom to choose courses I really like without having to focus on one for four years , I'd want to be able to study Philosophy alongside Physics , take a few MBA classes and English literature at the same time . American colleges would provide a breath of fresh air .

I want to study because I'm interested in studying , not because I want to study something that will guarantee me of a job upon graduation .

It's named 'tertiary education' after all .

I don't equate tertiary education with career .
