QUOTE(Heartnsoul @ Oct 22 2013, 06:49 PM) A question guys, do you guys take afternoon naps? I rarely take them but nowadays, I find myself very tired in the afternoon(3pm) after studying and if I sleep, I wake up grumpy and dizzy. This results in me not being productive for the rest of the day. Can't cramp those facts in! Any tips? Before the trials I usually sleep for the whole afternoon, than sleep again at 11pm and wake up at around 3am liddat to study. But now, its 5am wake 11pm sleep, no naps between them, disciplined it for 2 days straight. |

QUOTE(work_tgr @ Oct 23 2013, 11:27 PM) My teacher suggested my class to use the 2nd one cause she says the SPM skema's answer is the 2nd one or something But to be on the safe side, I usually write the 1st one. This post has been edited by Screen: Oct 24 2013, 09:17 AM |

QUOTE(ericling @ Oct 24 2013, 01:19 PM) Good idea! Would be easier to know everyone's progress and at the same time, it also can put on some pressure on ourselves to keep us moving. @MaximR time to do it! QUOTE(5p3ak @ Oct 25 2013, 07:16 AM) Quite surprised about what your teacher said. IMO Linear Programming (the graph part) is harder than this chapter. It's all about the matter of practices, the more you practice, the easier this chapter becomes, and you will feel like walking on breeze when you answer this question The answers are below, with brief explanations in it. I'm just not quite sure about part B, others I'm okay with it. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(lawlietpy @ Oct 28 2013, 08:53 PM) Yes, and I believe that you have problems differentiating ECS and Reactivity Series? Look, Electrochemical Series (ECS) is established to determine WHICH METALS COULD DISPLACE OTHER METALS FROM THEIR SALT SOLUTIONS. And I believe that you know that the more electropositive metal can displace a less electropositive metal from its salt solution. Therefore, the higher the position of metal, the more electropositive the metal. For instance, Sodium is placed higher than Calcium in the Electrochemical Series, therefore Sodium is more electropositive than Calcium, NOTHING TO DO WITH REACTIVITY. Whereas for Reactivity Series, it is PURELY ABOUT THE REACTIVITY OF A CERTAIN METAL. According to the Reactivity series, anything higher than Hydrogen will be considered as a reactive metal and anything below it is considered as a less reactive metal. (Correct me with this part if I'm wrong) For instance, Magnesium is placed higher than Hydrogen in the Reactivity series, therefore its a reactive metal and you will use the crucible experiment. Copper is placed lower than Hydrogen in the Reactivity Series, therefore its a less reactive metal and you will the "passing through dry hydrogen gas while heating metal oxide " experiment (forgot the name This post has been edited by Screen: Oct 28 2013, 10:16 PM |

QUOTE(1wildcat1 @ Oct 29 2013, 12:27 PM) MaximR or any other students, How do you normally study moral? as there are no past year papers to do...? Never follow my style if you can find a better way.SBP and other trial state papers? The day before the exam, I will be memorising nilais and definisis until 8pm, than sleep. Set alarm 2am, wake up feel like ghost awhile, than continue memorising nilais and definisis until everything is in the mind. Then, scan through the paper with aktas and stuffs... (school teacher handout). After that, look at alarm clock, if got time, nap awhile, if no time, bath with COLD water. Than put on baju and go school For this year I only have N9 and penang state papers, so I don't think I'm doing anymore extra exercises, focusing on memorising nilais, definisis and aktas. |

1) Had majlis restu ilmu. 2) Found Accounts teacher for state papers and modules answers. 3) Spent 30 minutes walking around the whole school finding Physics teacher for state papers and answers. 4) Spent 1.5 hours walking around the school to find Chemistry teacher for state papers and answers. 5) Spent another 30 minutes finding the teacher in charge of koko to get my Pengerusi sijil. 6) Kena splash water by random Malays (not being racist...) 7) Spent 15 minutes trying to retrieve Chemistry teacher's water bottle which went overboard and got stuck on the small roof on the 3rd floor. (Tried to use a stick to take it back, it slip off instead and fell to the ground, Physics anyone? 8) Listened to the motivational speech by one of the most hilarious teachers in my school 9) Got SPM slip. 10) Walked all the way from my secondary school to my primary school to catch my transport. (Accidentally tell wrong time, had to go to bro's school to catch my transport when he is going back) Hope I don't fall sick after the hilarious day today :/ |

Never slept for around 42 hours, been doing Eng and BM state papers, as well as Add Maths, and all the available state papers for Moral. Practised a bit on Sejarah too.
Now, off to sleep... |
