For science subjects, do u all always attempt another extra question for essays or maybe all? Since the answer schemes are sometimes different, my points always run a little. Is it advisable to attempt all questions as I think I can finish everything in about 2 hours.

In chemistry, can you replace terms like molecules, ions with particles. For example, the rate of collision between the particles increases instead of the rate of collision between zinc atom and hydrogen ions? Also, in certain experiments is it necessary to state the volume and molarity?

I always write the exact name of the particle .

Yes , neutralisation / standard solution and  R.O.R experiments require you to specify the volume and concentration of the solution ( s ) used . However , if the term 'beaker' , 'measuring cylinder' or 'test tube' is used , volume is not required .

What about in qualitative analysis of salts? Btw, do u attempt all the essay questions?

Does anyone know what's the mark to get an A- in SPM for Sej , Phy , Chem and Sej ? worry though .
*
There is nothing to be worry about the minimum marks for the grades. Juz do your best and push yourself to the limit. Then, no matter how much is the marks, it doesn't affect you.

Juz want to check with you all, for Biology particularly structure questions, lets say my answer is quite close and well related to the answer but expressed in another way, the examiner will link it to the answer given right? For instance, the answer given is cleaning process will be less effective and I write less stains will be removed.

Worry about my BM cos last year only 1 person in my school got A+. Even the top student who got average marks of 94 miss out on his A+.

Last year's BM problem was largely because of the section A (question asked for activity, people hurai faedah). Section B had a question on faedah program motivasi and most people wrote faedah terhadap diri which is counted as only one isi.

Always be sure to triple check and quadruple check the question. At the end of each paragraph, remember to kaitkan your paragraph with the kehendak soalan. If they don't specify, don't write specfically. By this I mean:

Assuming the question is "pihak yang bertanggungjawab memupuk semangat patriotisme" and you only write about peranan ibu bapa for 5 isi, it will only be counted as one.

I know it seems simple, but sometimes we can get too excited and forget that the question is not necessarily the same as the one we did.
*
Thanks for the share but I thought we can put one pihak for several isi?

One stupid question, will our marks be deducted if we write almost exactly as the text written in textbook for Sejarah?

I wouldn't be so sure about it, but let me tell you this experience that I had. During the moment my Sejarah Trial P3 was ongoing, my school's committee for history subject abruptly came into our class and informed us that we're verboten from using any of our hand-written notes, only printed ones were allowed and we're told to discard away any of our hand-written notes that we had in our possession at once. In a nutshell, I don't think we can.
*
The same scenario happened in my school but I think for school school exam they did this because they wanted to avoid students cheating by writing the answers from home beforehand.

Not stupid! As of now, no.

I guess stress is getting onto me that causes me to worry over several stuffs. The fear of not doing enough preparations for SPM is getting the better of me.

For karangan, I prefer to write about dimensi keluarga as the points for almost all the essays are the same. Is it risky if I focus more to it?

QUOTE(mingisms @ Nov 5 2013, 09:13 AM)
you know how there's always one sentence that is like a pembayang before the actual kehendak soalan for karangan? Do we have to take that into account?

For example: "Dewasa ini, kita sering digemparkan dengan berita-berita kanak-kanak diculik di tempat awam.

Bincangkan peranan ibu bapa dalam menjamin keselamatan anak."

When I write my karangan, can I write keselamatan anak like "keselamatan anak di rumah" or must I talk about keselamatan di tempat awam alone?

The actual question part doesn't specify, but the sentence before it does.
*
It should be in tempat awam I think since the above sentence already stated it and for safety, you should not go with rumah.

Do you guys give one or two contoh in a paragraph?

For peranan keluarga, my teacher advised us to write the peranan of every anggota like ibubapa, pakcik, nenek dan datuk.

Can we write extra answers for Komsas and KBKK questions which I usually did in school? My teacher didn't punish my marks though.

Btw, for bahagian A my teacher always says write about 300 words, even though the paper says 200-250 to score high marks. Should i write as the paper says? :l
*
Yes, you should always write more than 250 words cos 250 words are just too little to explain your points given.

Took quite long to write for karangan bahagian A as I struggled to think of the huraian. For bahagian B, I managed to finish on time but I think I made a few errors.

I wrote the essay about being alone at home when suddenly people outside started exchanging shots. BTW, the novel question asks for one or more person who are affected? I only skimmed through the question and answered, writing only about one person.
