Will you type out the esei first, or will you just be using the Skema to write on that day? blink.gif
*
'Skema' only, no time to type.

Anyways, anyone here reading Bio/science subjects and not Sejarah? I'm more worried about Bio than Sj to be honest.
*
I am studying Additional Mathematics, not going to study it but focusing on Science subjects before that day. Going to start 'Sejarah' tomorrow.

Revising with Short Notes and comics.

not to mention acronyms.

Also for some reason I tend to write down the notes again on piece of paper idk but I feel when it writing down you are actually more "involved". As you write you re-read and visualize  drool.gif compared to just reading...at times I can be pretty passive .  yawn.gif
*
What are acronyms?

Just a quick question.

Anyone not trusting any tips for Sejarah?

Me also. There are just too many tips floating around that makes things complicated. shakehead.gif

Anyone here plans to further his study to singapore polytechnics?
*
I plan to study Diploma in Digital and Precision Engineering with full scholarship awarded in Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. If I can't get the scholarship, then I will study STPM.

You must be a smart student for choosing STPM as one of your options.
*
The chances of me entering 'Matrikulasi' is not so high as my co-curricular marks is not higher than 85. Also, I am not so interested in A-Level (don't want to waste my parents money). So, STPM would be a great choice for me.

Well, I am aiming to enter NUS in Singapore. After studying diploma with full paid scholarship which I mentioned earlier, I will be able to work and study there, so I don't even need a single cent from my parents to get my degree. Hopefully I can get the scholarship. If not, then I would have to study STPM and seek for scholarships to enter NUS after STPM.

What about STPM , wouldn't it require you to pay for the fees in which you need to use your parents' money ?
What if you don't get in NUS , what would be your other options ?
*
What are the fees required in STPM?

Regarding other options, I will think it after SPM.

QUOTE(maximR @ Nov 10 2013, 05:32 PM)
I'm just sick and have lost all hope on the Malaysian education system . I want to be able to have the academic freedom to choose courses I really like without having to focus on one for four years , I'd want to be able to study Philosophy alongside Physics , take a few MBA classes and English literature at the same time . American colleges would provide a breath of fresh air .
*
I also have some fear on the quality of the Malaysia education system. Furthermore, the future of Chinese in Malaysia is somehow quite uncertain, at least for now.

QUOTE(maximR @ Nov 10 2013, 06:00 PM)
I want to study because I'm interested in studying , not because I want to study something that will guarantee me of a job upon graduation .

It's named 'tertiary education' after all .

I don't equate tertiary education with career .  smile.gif
*
But I do think that education and job do have some relationship. Frankly, we need great qualification to boost our chances to get great jobs in this ever challenging world.

Honestly, the same diatribe about great qualifications has been rehashed over and over again throughout the years. Since our parents' time, people have been harping on great qualifications.

Experience and innovation are a lot more important. Most employers nowadays look at your experience, not so much at your qualifications. Your internships and previous projects will probably play a larger part than your qualifications. Yale + no internship vs Universiti Malaya + internship at Google, which one sounds better? Haha.

Seriously though, being innovative attracts internships. Internships attract employers. So, you know, great qualifications don't always count for everything.  smile.gif

Anyway, let us put aside the talk about or future. We need to focus more on SPM. We will definitely have tons of time to chat here after SPM.

Exercise will also be the main thing I will do after SPM, but I won't skip meals. Agreed with the part that I have bolded. tongue.gif

If this kind of question comes out, do you guys write all 'langkah' or just some to fulfill the 8 marks? There are 60+ points (marks) in Terengganu 2013 'skema'.

Terangkan langkah-langkah ke arah pembentukan Malaysia. (8m)

And then if can, try use more KBKK. More easier to skor.

Isn't it a waste time to write all? 60+ points for 8 marks.
