PCApex PSU Calculator
Detailed system power use calculator for determining how large of PSU you need. This app will let you know how large of a PSU you should use to ensure your system runs as stable as possible.

Do not expect an update on this app until a new generation of relevant hardware is released, and most of the bugs that were reported from the first release have been addressed anyway so im gonna let it go for a while...

Version 1.2 Updates:
====================================
- Inculded a more robust overclocking section.
- Fixed MORE problems with VGA list values not being
reported correctly for X800 Series
- Updated GUI with icons and other junk
- Removed TEC option, was stupid.
- Removed Infobar, was also stupid.
- Updates to hardware roster
- Misc small updates to wattage values
__________

Version 1.0 Updates:
==================================================
- Updated VGA section to include the ATI X1XXX series video cards
- Fixed problem with VGA list values not being reported correctly for X800 Series
- Fixed minor cosmetic problems
- Now shows up in taskbar
- Fixed small issue with info-bar
- Official version (1.0)
- Misc small updates to wattage values

Hmmm... i've tested the software.... but it's waaaaayyyyy too far frm what my pc consumes.

Look here

This is

AMD Opteron 146 Oc'ed to 3G
DFI LanParty Ultra D
GSkill ddr550 oc'ed to DDR600
2 maxtor PATA HDD

With the calculator, it shows 320w whereas my LCD PSU just need around 120w-130w while full load n 70w-80w during idle. This is with C' n Q' disabled.

The software is cool but satanhead2003's PSU display is cooler! thumbup.gif

Edit: tested this calculator. Far from accurate. The result is much higher than the real consumption.
