i read in reddit, in jap server (not remember which one), they have TITAN PRACTICE also, jap player usually shout for TITAN PRACTICE,
but when he transfer to NA/EU, he shout like that, all curse and tell-cursed have been thrown to him, he shocked.
and have been advice with new way, DF for TITAN PRACTICE, and create party if want to do real TITAN.

i've experience toxic player also from NA/EU, i tot it's a global issue (JAP and NA/EU have), but after SE have transfer features, then i read in reddit, JAP player people a bit nicer, maybe have 1 or 2 toxic player, but not as many as NA/EU.

gonna transfer to JAP server soon, but not know yet which one.

Well considering what I experienced in GW2, I guess this is a normal thing for the western culture. At least they get used to it. Compare to the Japanese, this definitely something "new" to them lol.
So far all my PUG dungeon was started with Yoroshiku and ended with Otsukaresama. They will even apologize immediately on small matters such as aggro-ed 1-2 adds.

I only play in NA server.

In NA servers people give up easily on titan HM. That's for sure.

Also there is a difference of behavior among players if the party consists of people from same world or party is formed from df. DF can be quite toxic if someone doesn't preemptively intervene by saying 'It's ok' when someone else make mistakes. I just make sure I have some popcorn ready.

Also I never heard of shout for titan practice here, except for when it's done internally (with fc member). Just went to Mor Dhona and saw this. Very nice indeed. Even shouts of free titan runs.

Also there is huge difference in endgame community and new players. Everyone is so polite and friendly at level 1-40ish. After that... not many people start with a 'hello' and end with a 'thanks'. I guess many people become jaded after multiple runs of ak or cm laugh.gif . Also shit storm happens when someone killed the lamb in dd. Glad they patched that.

Having said that I've met a lot of very nice players here too. I'd say 80% are nice enough in my book. But maybe that's just me and my experience in /k sweat.gif . I won't transfer considering I love the server and the people in them. Also to be able to farm freely when everyone is sleeping is quite nice brows.gif .

I just started to do Ifrit HM, everytime I join a NA group there sure to be people leaving after just 1 wipe. shakehead.gif No such thing with JP groups, they retry and retry again until they win. notworthy.gif

Also JP players seem to be more polite and talkative in party chat compared to NA players.

I can honestly say JP players are better, more prepared, know the strategies, polite and stick to it until the end.

Definitely the case, I had a few N/A players rage quit when they themselves made the mistakes. I recently had the chance to be with a tank that doesn't know how to aggro and maintain it. He also dies with every opportunity even though the healer is by and large competent.

At the end, he cursed us to high heavens and then told us to find a better tank if we thought he was that bad. All the other members surrounded him and showed /doubt. He then promptly quit. Hilarious.

I just did a good run of Aurum Vale. With a group of Japanese. It was efficient as all hell. Lots of bowing, welcoming, cheering and tips with every boss. It was definitely better than any and all N/A servers.

i think its how you show your attitude during these runs.

back in NA i never had a problem as if someone was having trouble playing just advise him and give a few tips usually they will follow IF you tell them nicely. but if u rage along with your party member then be prepared to leave the party.

well i do have to admit that JP ppl are much more polite in nature as they always greet and say thanks ( i assume as i dun read japanese) so yes they are very kind.

But in all its good to learn all play roles for all dungeon so you are always ready to advise or give tips to other class if they are having problems.

Just my 2 cents. Cheers smile.gif

yup maybe,
in REDDIT, u can read many player said about toxic player, that cursing, abusing etc2(but there is no post about that anymore because its become normal)
until they stop playing FFXIV because of this player, at first i tot it's global issue (NA and JAP)
but when transferred available, there are few post said about JAP player is nicer than NA,
i dont know, mybe true maybe not, so lets see this month how is the culture for JAP server smile.gif

NA tends to gives up easy

If you DF praetorium/cm, they will leave if they found out someone watching the cutscenes

Seriously, if they want speed run they shouldn't DF it lol

agreed! my 1st CM was horrible!!
at first i dunno y they keep running,
after i finished my Main Scenario then i understand, it's for Tomes
but at 1st time CM, i just standing there until everything finished, they couldnt careless
as long as they got their Tomes ASAP..yeah for all reason they have, they have things to do in real life and bla2
but they do CM by DF, and expect everyone is their 10th time of runs.

NA will judge you on your gear when you pt with them.
Lousy gear = lousy player. This is their mindset.
If wipe a few times, they'll immediately disconnect from game or immediately leave pt.
If they are leader, they'll kick you off directly.
They're loyal customers to rmt lol..

The Japanese do speed run aswell.
Thats why it is important to specify whether is it first time doing CM at the beginning of the instance.
When there is a first timer we tend to slow down abit and wait them finish watching the cut scenes.
And the main tanker usually will take the leader role to give instructions to first timer on what to do, where to go etc.

Cause there are a lot a more first timer when they do it, players just forgot they were first timer once as well after they get to 50 and start end-game

I do agree JP players are generally more polite and doesn't just leave when things goes wrong. They can try Primal HM for the whole duration with no one leaving lol

For my Titan HM win I got into a full JP group, cause them to wipe first round cause I didn't know I was suppose to use LB on heart, so we tried again, no one call be noob or anything. We wipe a few more times and got it on the 5th tries, once done they all congratulated me, and I couldn't thank them enough. Throughout the whole fight there was no name calling, no rude remark, everyone was just nice and do their best. Can't imagine how that would went if it was in NA lol.

agree but what they don't know is things like DL gear is shit easy to get, you don't need skill.

100 tomes per run, 35 runs and I get DL armor set. what skill is needed lol
