Merely a Setback is laid back, semi-hardcore Oceanic raiding guild formed late Wotlk on the Oceanic server Thaurissan-Horde.We are a fun loving bunch of players that have been raiding together since TBC and Wrath content acquiring raid titles such as Bane of the Fallen King, Undying, Herald of the Titans, Argent Defender, Champion of Ulduar, Blackwing's Bane, of the Four Wind, Dragonslayer, Firelord, Savior of Azeroth and many others while it is relevant content and respective Glory Raider drakes.

Sunday: 10:00PM SVT - 2:00AM SVT (7:00PM - 11:00PM GMT+8)*
Monday: 12:00PM SVT - 2:00AM SVT (9:00PM - 11:00PM GMT+8)

SVT time zone with DSL is GMT+11.

MASB is seeking raiders who have a positive attitude, who are able to work in a group situation cohesively and are able to display the required level of skill, raid output, (high) situational awareness on a CONSISTENT basis. Such raid performance characteristics are what the guild is looking for.

What we expect from you:

-99% Raid attendance (we understand that real-life stuffs can get in the way, but always provide early prior notice).
-Have a working mic that you will use and able to handle constructive criticism.
-Optimized gear.
-Knowledge in your class.
-Know how to play your OS (rarely do we require u to go on your OS).
-Willingness to sit out if required.
-Read up on fights and always be prepared.

What do we provide:

- Top end progression.

- Laid back and comfortable raiding environment This is what we are particular about. As much as we demand good performance from our recruits, no player can perform to their best ability when given uncomfortable, unfair treatment. We are experienced in this area and aim to not only progress with you, but to also enjoy this game with you and take you into part of the family. We have recruited foreigners in the past and they have enjoyed raiding together. Therefore you can expect absolute zero and unnecessary drama from us.

- A casual raiding schedule but still achieve progression. This is also another area of our strengths. Many of us are working adults with a couple of us in the military. Therefore we understand that there are many other more important things in life than just playing WoW. Only at times whereby its for progression that we stretch and extend our raid times.

bro. AR currently have excess of hunters (we are still inviting other dps classes though) at this moment even for our second raid team which we are setting up. Hence kevmeister lack of playing time in the raid, which i am quite sorry about it but theres nothing much i could do. just want to say that he could be a very good addition to your guild as he is very active and committed into this game.

hope you could consider him to be in your guild.

@Kevmeister, we indeed want a hunter and can gear you up fast as you'll be the only mail agi user. We need to have a look at your past; do you have any WoL or any experiences in raiding hard modes?

As a matter of fact, we're recruiting another 9-10 spots for healers/dpsers so we can do 2 X 10 mans and to get ready for Warlords of Draenor. We'll merge the 2 10 men teams for WoD.

isn't it abit early to recruit from now. WoD earlist i think also will be 4 to 5 months from now. Alot can happen 4-5 months from now. I actually feel best to recruit like maybe 1 month from WoD date.

Depends. By the time you mentioned, all the good players are already hired. So the pool with which you can choose from are not the players you would want. Most decent guilds started hiring 2 months ago.
