I agree with sihumchai, different shop will have different overhead cost. The easiest way is to know the SRP in USD, and then you can come up with estimated cost in RM. Online shop such as play asia sell their close to the SRP.

that's why i said that 1st and foremost, you must know the SRP for the games and then go from there. Like you said before, now is the information age and you can easily find it online.
imho, not everyone will be quoted the same price when you are buying a game in our local shop. but none the less, it is no harm in posting the price you pay.
For myself, i found these shop(s) have good pricing : TNL, Sg Wang Plaza (top floor).
For SMB i paid rm 130 for it and Big Brain rm 95
