<Putting on my business-da-man hat> While I do understand with sihumchai comment of "...as it might spoil the market for some shops.", it is stated with the view that the customer (thats me and a large percentage majority of forumers here) is willing to fork out an Nth amount of money for their Nindy love. N=slightly higher percentage of the usual Suggested Retail Price (SRP).

<takes off the B-hat> while this means Mr.shop-man makes a tidy sum for every sale, overall prices remain "artificially" high. With more games coming up this year, a righteous circle of increasing new gamers and buyers (or just plain old ones) will continue to purchase more and more games for his / her enjoyment.

But with bigger selection of games coming up, customers appreciate lower prices, which enable him / her to buy more games. More games equal to higher sales, and everyone benefits.

But what if prices remains "artificially" high, citing rising costs of various examples?
-- Buyers remain at the sideline, holding on to their wallets
-- Buyers find other cheaper source of entertainment
-- Buyers find other "similar" or "duplicate" form of the same entertainment

Make the pie bigger so everyone can enjoy it, or just eat less pie.
