Since after the new patch releases I keep getting a Login Restriction every time which I do not know why.
I did not do anything wrong and i used to log in normally.
They have told me to change the password which is fine but the next day it keeps restricting me from login in again ?!
Why is this happening to me and how can i prevent this ?

This is security feature they implemented for safety, everytime you change IP your password will RESET. to Avoid this you can opt for Security Token(Paid) or Security App(free)

Security App is free, only available to Android & iOS

People really need to use the app. Its free. Its safe.

Its a hassle but it will be much more of a hassle if your account got hijacked.

Basically two types : token (physical, need to pay) or app (free software used in android or ios).

Just make sure you keep the emergency password that you will get after registration.

NA SE forum got thread saying he got hacked even he is using the software token.
Anyway yes got token is harder to get hacked than not using la hahaha.
My friend got the same problem too. After installing the app then no more annoying restriction like that.
Their system and CS are too....speechless

This is stupid. My brother keeps having to change his pass since he doesnt have a smartphone. Wish they only require email confirmation like gw2. Cuz this is retarded having to change passwords every time

my stupid phone the final fantasy token reset twice
(first time i save the emergency password removal second time i forgot to save had to waste one whole weekend without play for me to get back on coz i found out reset on friday night after their working hours)
Only got my myth to 150/300 before reset yesterday >.<

If no smartphone, try install "bluestacks".
It is an android emulator for PC.
So far can say it will run most of the android apps.
Just install the SE Token Apps and link to the FFXIV account.
Of course this is just theoretically speaking and unproven by me. Maybe already got other people out there already did this. I dunno

yea but i dont see the point of an authenticator in the computer unless u wanna do it on another pc for the bluestacks lol.

im fine with cod but where u base at i scared more mafan for you to cod with me.
