I dont have the game so I cant do much about it without looking like an idiot.

As long as the game has some shitty Rune system from LoL, I am out. Do it like Dota 2 with paid heroes only, I am in.

And hope it will never come back.

I just got my Alpha key!

So far the impression is a bit underwhelming. It feels like a very shallow version of MOBA while a lot of the issues with the genre still persist.

No. It isnt worth downloading.

HotS is very very grindy. The gold gain is too low even till you'll spend a month to grind daily for a free hero. Unless you are content to stick with the weekly free heroes rotation or willing to spend money on the game, you can very much skip this game.

This isn't Hearthstone where it is still the best TCG in the market where you can stomach the grind that isnt too bad to begin with. HotS's grind is awful while there are so many good MOBAs in the market, why play a mediocre game like HotS with its poor business model. The gameplay is good like what you expect from a blizzard game but the grind and the absurd pricing at this time and age pretty much ruined the game. League got away with high pricing because it was the first. HotS is just too late to the market when you have 2 massive MOBAs dominating the market.

So far, Blizzard is fairly reluctant to fix the low gold gain. Wont hurt to come back a year later.

It is just isnt that good now and hope it will be another Diablo 3.

I cant even join a game. That is even worse, IMO.

No errors, it just search and search for 15 minutes and I dont get any Versus matches.

I can play Practise just fine.
