Hi Everyone

First of all we have clearly stated on our thread and our website that "*Operator logo may vary, subjected to stock availability".

Therefore it is the buyers responsibility to check with us on what logo that we are going to send as we have indicated.

The problem here is the TS was not observant by not heeding our indication in bold.

If we did not state, it is our fault, but the thing is we have already done our part.

We have several types of logo with the same modem's model which is going in and out such as T-Mobile, SmartTone, SFR, "3" and the list goes on.

What we assure here is Huawei E372 with such indicated frequencies are supported and the our units are unlocked.

Below is the diagnostics report for Huawei E372U-8 (Smart Tone)

(2,13,14,16),(0-3),((2000000400380,"GSM900/GSM1800/WCDMA900/WCDMA2100"),(4a80000,"GSM850/GSM1900/WCDMA850/WCDMA1900"),(3fffffff,"All Bands")),(0-2),(0-4)

Therefore we have complied by providing a unit with the correct supporting bands as below

Band :

3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS 2100/1900/900/850 MHz

2G: GSM/GPRS/EDGE 1900/1800/900/850 MHz

The TS bought Huawei E372 and we sent him a Huawei E372. As indicated operator logo varies and we sent whatever is available according to our stock availability. We did send the TS Huawei and not by any other manufacturer. It is made by the same manufacturer with the same functionality.

SmartTone is just another network provider like Maxis, Celcom, Vodafone, Singtel and so on.

We assure all the units being sold by us are original / authentic and moreover we have given the TS Huawei's contact details to verify whether the product is original or not. Assumptions won't solve any problem.

Finally, the manufacturer is the same (Huawei), the model (E372) is the same but the operator logo differs as per indicated by us.

No foul play here on our side but lack of observation by the TS. Therefore we are NOT scamming here but just making things straight and easy.

Honestly, to be frank, we've been going back and forth with you (TS) and clearly do not seem to understand simple English of "*Operator logo may vary, subjected to stock availability".

To end this hideous madness, we will provide you with a full refund for the ITEM ONLY, provided that the item is in the same original new condition with its complete packaging and etc.

*Do take note, if you are planning to go ahead with the refund, the item must reach us by Tuesday, end of the day. Otherwise, consider the offer is void.

Regards

do you even know what the phrase "may vary" even means or not?
it is reasonably to expect huawei logo is depicted different on the device, maybe different color, different placement or styled differently but NOT a totally different brand all together like smarttone!
that is just down right dirty bait and switch!  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

Hi

For your information we have clearly stated the operator logo and not brand/manufacturer.

In case, you want to know the meaning for the word "vary", here it is http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/vary

For your information, SmartTone is a network provider and the brand/manufacturer is still HUAWEI.

Please get your facts right before commenting.

Hi everyone

We have clearly stated that the TS can return the item back to us for a refund provided item is in the same new condition latest by next Tuesday.

The item is made by Huawei as it is clearly printed at the back of of the item.

In order to check the authenticity of the item, we have provided the TS with Huawei Malaysia's contact details.

Change of logo is not the same as change of design.
Change of logo means that the buyer must accept any logo change. Maybe the word huawei is changed with Samsung.
However, the design must remain the same.

All E372 comes with the same design.

What if TS ship back the same item but in a different Telco branding? Would you still refund?  brows.gif

Haha, then the item is considered tampered and not illegible for refund because the telco logo is embossed.

In a way you are still misleading, you used a more well-known & popular picture to "reel" in the customer & to somehow "protect" urself you put up all those disclaimers. And you assume that the customer will not mind even though its a "different" item, and in the event a customer complains, you bring up all those crap you mention & put the responsibility on the buyer. So what if you offer refund? Why does the customer have to go through all the trouble to return the item when you should not have send it out in the first place? Unless you have made it clear before you send that the item is different from the picture posted. And if buyer agrees, than no issue.

Clearly you are just trying to clear off your stock by enticing them with a popular item.

As we have mentioned earlier, we have already indicated that the logo may differ.

It is difficult for us to change the photos as we have plenty of logos in and out for certain models.

However, from now on-wards we will take extra precautionary to do our best to inform customers accordingly

Item is still Huawei E372. If we are dishonest, we wouldn't have indicated as such.

It is also the buyers responsibility to check with us and we are not misleading by selling a fake or non-authentic item.

Finally, the call is to be made by the buyer if he wants to proceed with the refund or not as there is no other options left to solve the problem.

Everybody have their own views and feedback but it's the buyer's call now.

We will proceed with the next cause of action from there.

You see what you have created for yourself? You should have inform that you dont have that item, but you have another which is similar in all kind of ways, make this known to buyer BEFORE you send out. If he agrees, then no problem la. If he agrees & dare to make noise later, screw him back with the reply stating that he is ok with a different item.

And please, dont keep putting the responsibility on the buyer that he has to check if you have stock or not. Who is the business owner here? Who keep tracks of stock? You or him? He buys from you based on what you have posted, if you no stock, just inform, its not that hard right? His main responsibility is to PAY YOU, not do stock check for you.
*
If we did not mention the logo may vary than the responsibility is entirely ours, but the fact is we have already mentioned.

Andrew.
U takde yang macam dalam gambar punya ka.
U send la to ts first.
Later dah dapat ts send back the item.
Why your timeframe bagi pendek sangat.
Kasi win win situation la.

Hi

No stock as we already mentioned via PM to the TS.

If the TS sends the item out by Poslaju, it will reach the next working day.

Therefore we feel Tuesday is sufficient since the TS can do it today, tomorrow or Monday (3 working days)

Regards
