Hello:
Anyone has any idea what's the typical lead time for Public Bank to approve a credit card application?

For e.g. Maybank requires 5 working days to approve if we apply through email. how about Public Bank?
*
Applied online - 21st Oct.
Approved yesterday 3rd Nov.

Can use EA form to apply credit card for income proof? lets say my EA form is 40k but my monthly payslip does not show >3000 cox of commision
*
Yea you can use EA form. Submit your BE form as well.

EDIT: if you can prove your commission with 3rd party document i.e vouchers, then give 6 month of commission voucher and bank statement to prove the income.

I think they don't consider EA form as reliable as payslip or EPF contribution.

EA form and payslip is both issued by your h/r. why ea form is not reliable? hmm.gif

And even when you do tax filing, EA form is needed.

Hi all sifus,

Anyone knows if I could invest into unit trust using credit cards? I would like to take advantage of the credit card points and also hope to meet the min required spending for free AF the following year. I know of one PRS provider which I can invest using credit card but I would not want to invest alot as they have restriction for withdrawal.

I don't think there is any..

Hi Team, I need some assistance to clarify the terms that shown on online banking. If let say beginning of this month (December, 2015) I had spent RM1,000. Below is the information shown in online summary of recent transaction.

- Statement Balance = RM0.00
- Outstanding Balance = RM1,000
- Payment Due = 18th Dec 2015
- Minimum Payment = RM0.00

May I know should I required to clear the outstanding payment based on the payment due date or need to wait until next month, which is 18th Jan 2016 only clear this amount? I have yet to receive any bank statement based on current month transaction. Thank you.
*
Yes. You can wait for your Dec 2015 statement and pay before Jan 2016 due date.

Your due date is 20 days after 18th Jan 2016.

No. Payment due date is on 18 Jan 2016.

The 20 days is calculate from the statement date not the due date. doh.gif

Hmm...3k per quarter not doable..

Any other better card recommendation  icon_question.gif ?

Perhaps OCBC Great Eastern MasterCard 1% on first 1k and no annual fees.

Just for insurance alone i guess 1% cash back is the best you can get.
