Can retiree with no income proof except dividends from EPF qualify for a credit card? I know it's its definitely a "No" from Standard Chartered.

Some banks I know do allow retirees to have credit cards based on:
1. You are a VIP customer meaning private, premier banking etc. 2. You hold substantial unit trusts from them like "Public Mutual" 3. You are a high salaried earner (salary bank thru them) before you retire. 4. You are an existing credit card holder - continue with the card after retirement.
