any idea is there anything called cash merchant register under cash payment but can make payment through VISA/MASTERCARD. in another word, we use our credit card to make purchase through online and the bank categorise the payment as cash advance because the merchant is register under cash type. is there such thing? pls advise. this is what the bank told me when i complain there is a cash advance fees of rm20.

Public bank told me that there is no other way round to void this.

im just wondering will we get letter from PB stating that we are in debt with them and need to arrange financial counselling with Bank Negara if we just pay the min amount? i mis pay previous month min amount and got a letter from them stating I am owning them xx$ and need to arrange counselling session with Bank Negara.
