I would like to ask, is it possible for someone with no source of income (housewife for e.g.) to apply for a credit card by pledging FD? I know someone who does not fulfill income requirement can do so by pledging FD to get the card but what if that person has no recurrent income but has cash in the bank instead?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Aug 5 2015, 12:47 PM) Yes it is possible by pledging FD. Different banks may have difference procedure so do check with the banks. QUOTE(chiahau @ Aug 5 2015, 12:59 PM) Doable for Maybank, Public Bank, HLB for Wise/Mach/etc. Other banks you need to confirm yourself. The amount you pledged - your credit limit. Different banks have different procedures, some even have stamp duty so do walk in and ask. Thank you.
