Thks for info

But what I asking is the PB flexi pay, where you can convert any transaction made in any merchant by call or sms. I think is different with ZIIP where only applicable for participated Merchant

I do have a PB cc too. And as far as my understanding from the T&C, you should be able to call PB and do that flexi-pay. Why don't give them a call, and ask them to do it. See if it would go through. smile.gif

Hmm, if you have been rejected, suggest that u wait say 3-mths before applying again.

Have u tried to apply a CC where your salary is banked in?

How long have u been working. If u can show a consistent OT, Commissions, some Banks recognise such Income but it depends from case to case.

What is your Basic and Ot / Comms

Well I don't think he has to wait before applying again. I think for first-timer application, it would always be hard. I faced the same thing before, only about 2 years back.

I went to Citibank, rejected because there was no home phone number on my application form. (silly reason right?)
I applied OCBC 4 times I think, also rejected. No reason was given.
Then I went to CIMB, to apply simple classic card. Also rejected. Mind you my salary was credited into CIMB!

And my salary was about RM45k per year that time. I don't even understand why all three banks rejected me.

In the end, I was so frustrated, I went to Bank Islam and applied a card there. I thought to myself since its card was not that popular, so perhaps it would be easier to get it.

And yup, I got it. Few months after that I applied for more cards. Absolutely no problem at all. Now I have Maybank 2 Card, Public Bank Visa Gold Card, Standard Chartered World Miles Card and Bank Islam Gold card.

So yeah, my advice would be just be patient, and apply for an easy-to-get card first. Build your credit history for a few months, and then start applying for other cards.

Since there's no more RM50 service tax. Anybody has done comparison on which cards with no AF that we should have? I'm looking at all banks now.
